In this guide, I will be teaching you a way to open any page on the internet from a simple click from your Desktop. This can be used for if you want to get to a page or pages quickly, rather then having to type it in or Google it. It is very basic, and can be done on any computer. ​

How it works

To do this you are simply creating a new shortcut on your desktop which leads to an internet. This shortcut can open any internet page instantly. All you need to do is simply click on it. And the page will open up. It can be used for opening all the pages you need, efficiently and fastly. You could do it for runescape or sythe as well

How to do it

To start off minimize all your browsers, so you are on your desktop. Now right click an empty space and click "New" then hit "Shorcut"



Now you will be on Create A Shorcut guide. Where it says: Type the location of the item, type in the URL of the site. I am using http://sythe.org As the example the click "Next"



Now you will see "Type a New Name for this Shortcut" now call it what you want to. I am naming mine: Sythe Homepage, then click Finish.



Now it will be saved on your desktop as a internet icon with a small arrow in it, click it to open whatever page it is, you're done =]

nice guide, you should make it for firefox too though, since it is pretty popular

 

PHAIL. All your doing is saving the code of the page, so you always see the same thing when you open it, client side, no internet required.

Yes, you can get sources from EVERY SINGLE PAGE ON THE INTERNET. Its not that hard. They can try and stop you, but you can still get it.

No, you can not link to worlds from your desktop, unless you re using firefox, with JS off.

If you want a internet link, just right click your desktop, hit new shortcut, then type the url in.

This is pretty basic knowledge (At least for me). If FireFox is your default browser, the guide will work anyway.
