Have you ever tried to fumble with Windows XP, or Vista's connection manager, just to get a connection? Sometimes it can be down right annoying, or the signal just does not go far enough to capture any connections.

In my guide I will be explaining how to get Wi-Fi connection, in very easy steps, without using connection manager. ​

How to get the Internet Access

You can get this free internet access as long as you have a windows XP or up, and some type of way of searching for internet connections. It is easy, free and only takes a maximum of 2 minutes.

How it works

It is done by a nifty program named: Easy WiFi Radar. This program automates all of the connections from your computer's connection manager. It is basically a small program that when used, sends out signals, to find access points

( An access point is an area that hosts internet such as a router ). Access points are represented as green, yellow or red dots on the small radar.



When an access point is found it will transmit the internet signal automatically back to your computer, and instantly connect you to it. It not only is easier and faster then using your computer's connection manager, using the Easy Wi-Fi Radar, it can send the signal further, therefore can connect just about anywhere.

How far can it scan?

 

I believe it can scan 2-3 times further then just using your connection manager.

0mfg i tryed this in dublin (wi-fi city) and picked up so many signals better than the crappy standard one.... this is one AMAZING peice of kit... I RECCOMEND TO ANY TRAVVELER.

when i try this it says no wifi hardware found please connect to your wireless adapter and try again and i am on my laptop which can get wireless

 

I've never had that problem.. I think it might be that you have dial up or broadband? Or whatever sends out your signal is out of date.

Hm, Thehate, It ocasionnally will not work ( on a very small chance ) with vistas. Sorry. Try re downloading it though.

Quite a short guide, good use of picture's and detail, you have used alot of different colours for your words, try sticking with 2 or 3 colours to make your guide more popper rather than a circus. Well Done!
