This idea came to me while I was searching for a member on the sythe member list. Is it just me who notices that there are hundreds of accounts that have not posted ever, and are years old?

My suggestion is to delete accounts that are not not logged on to within a month, with the exception of all moderators, programmers, administrators etc:.

For holidays, there could be an option in a user's control panel, such as "Holiday Mode" and you choose how long you are certain you will not be logging on to sythe with your account. this would be canceled however, if you were to log on to sythe with holiday mode enabled, and you will be once again vulnerable to the 1 month in-activity deletion.

The point of this suggestion is to get rid of all these accounts that will never be accessed and truly see the amount of active users we have on sythe.org.

Alright there, I'm finished. I myself think some of the idea is messy so if you require further explanation don't hesitate to ask.

No. Some people actually do come back after a year of inactivity. Plus, what's so bad about having a high member count D:

We never prune users or threads. We like having high member/thread counts because then advertisers pay more or something.

I went inactive for like eleven months :/.

In actuality though, this idea has been proposed a few times already. Why does it matter if we have inactive accounts? It's not like they're a nuisance just being there or anything. People just may become inactive for a little while whether it just be from problems with internet, or maybe just sheer boredom. And if they ever do decide to come back they'll be trying to log into Sythe.org and they come to figure out that their account has been deleted. I can see a good number of disputes being made from that.

Also, having a larger memberlist isn't necessarily a bad thing either.
