[MODS] How to STOP I.P Banned people getting back into SYTHE.ORG

Hey i've noticed that once a person has been I.P'ed banned they can get back on wheather it be from masking their IP or using a proxy, So i took it into my own hands to conduct an experiment:

Alhtough i am not I.P'ed from sythe i went on www.google.com and searched "proxy", i had around 900,000,000 search results so i clicked on the first one..

I entered: "www.sythe.org", and hey presto i'm on. I tried logging on as myself and access was denied "whitelist etc.." but then i starting browsing the forums, tried logging on again and hey presto, i'm in!

What im saying is, people are only blocked from logging into sythe on the MAIN WELCOME PAGE OF SYTHE. If mods/admins etc can do what they done on the homepage to every sub-forum then there would be a great decrease in repeat scammers.

Answers to pre-thought questions:

1. It would take ages and too long to (do what we we did on the homepage) to every post, thread etc..

A. You would just have to put a block on the subforum page where threads can be created, therefore scammers cannot no longer sign in.

I just hope I can help, after-all we all hate scammers right?

Sounds like a great idea but would it take up time for mods to keep blocking those web pages were they sign in from each proxy?

 

yeah i've just searched proxies on google and soo many results came up..there are just too lil mods to fulfill something so big, and even with a lot of people new proxies will just be created so it's a really a waste of time.

 

Simple as... it can not be helped , best we can do is report suspicious activity to Admins,Mods like FinnisTheGreat ShredderTheDictator and MattTheFat !

But yeah... decent idea if it could work.

I have to agree. Sythe cannot block all proxies in the world. People keep using different proxies daily, so it is hard.
