    Skill Guide: Construction

(Please remember this is to level up the skill, NOT make a really cool house, you can do that on your own)

    ---------------------Construction Guide--------------------

To Start Construction, you have to speak to a Real Estate Agent about buying a house.

I only know where two of them are, but I'm aware that at least 3 exist. one of them is in Falador.

To talk to the Falador Real Estate Agent, teleport to Falador and walk westwards until you see a house sign on your mini-map.
Walk into the little building and talk to the "Estate Agent".

The other one that I know of is by the maple trees just to the north of Seers' Village bank. To get to him, teleport to Camelot, run to the maple trees north of Seers' bank, and walk west until you see the house sign on your mini-map (it's like 5 steps away from the trees.)

Now that you've got a house, you can start training your construction level!

To start, buy 140 normal planks, and 500 or so iron nails.

The quickest way to get your supplies to your house is to buy "Teleport To House" and and teleport tablet that teleports you near a bank.
Although this costs a bit more, I highly recommend it, as it saves you walking distance.

Your Inventory Should consist of these items:

    -A hammer
    -A saw
    -Nails
-Teleport tablets (if you bought them)
-Rest of inventory should consist of planks.

Now that you have all the items you need, go ahead and teleport to your house.
Once your in your house, go the your options menu. It's the little wrench.

Click on the house and then turn building mode ON. Walk into your parlour (the only room you have so far besides your garden).

Right-click one of the chair spaces and click "Build Chair" then select "Crude Wooden Chair".

After you build the chair, right-click it and click "Remove" then rebuild the chair back.

Repeat this process until you run out of planks. Then teleport to Falador and grab more planks, go back to your house and repeat the process mentioned.

Now, after you use your 140 planks, you should have Level 19 Construction.

    You're going to need:

    -10K (10,000 Gp)
    -5planks
    -10 or 15nails.

Go into the building mode again, and select one of the "Door Spaces" and build yourself a worshop, then go into the worshop and build a workbench.

Now that you have Level 19 construction and a workbench, you are now going to be using oak planks for a long time.

Buy about 210 oak planks to get you started.
Once you have built a workshop and workbench, you no longer need your nails for the next steps, so go ahead and deposit them into your bank, but make sure to keep your hammer, saw and both tele-tabs(house and any other you bought) in your inventory.

Now, with those 4 items in your inventory, withdraw ALL the oak planks you can carry, and head off to your house.

Once your in your house, head to your workshop and select "Work-At Workbench".
A window will pop-up and ask you what you want to build. click "Armchairs" then click on "Oak Chair".
Build oak chairs until you reach level 32.

Now that you've reached level 32, you can build a "Workbench 2".

So,you're going to need 5 oak planks and 10-15nails. Go into building mode and right click your workbench, and remove it.

Then Build a new Oak Workbench in it's place.
After you've done that, head to the bank to get a full load of oak planks. Go to your house and "work at workbench"

Except, this time you're going to make "dining tables" then make 4 "Carved Oak Tables".
Make sure you only have a hammer, saw, and tele tabs with you, otehrwise you wont be able to carry enough planks to make 4 tables.

The 4 Tables Give you 1440xp and are a very good way to train.

You can do Oak Tables until you are tired of making them,as they are good experience for any level of construction, and they dont cost that much!

You can also train farming with construction, but you better be prepared to spend lots of money.

To train farming, you need watering can(s).

Go to Falador park and buy Bagged trees plants depending on your construction level.
If you have 45 construction for example, you would buy, maple trees, and bagged plant 3.

To fill a garden, you need 2 bagged trees and 4 bagged plants. BUT you can remove the plants just like everything else in your house.

If you have 45 construction, you can plant maple trees, then remove them.
This is excellent farming exp, but each maple tree costs 15k (15,000 Gp).
So it all depends on if your willing to spend your money or not.

It's a good guide. But I'm a bit confused...Do we do Oak tables until 99 construction? Pictures would be great. :)

I think to stop some confusion, put the levelling into formats like this:

    1-15: ....<----Information here.
    15-45:....<----Information here.
    45-99:....<----Information here.

Something like that, but otherwise, great guide. :D

If you only carry Home teletablets and use a Ring of Dueling, you can carry 24 Planks. Use the ring to teleport to Castle Wars to use the bank.

Butlers cost extra money, So, unless you have the money, i guess you could use a butler... doing it yourself though makes it less boring.
