Ok, this only works on accounts that you haven't made yet.

It's simple, but may not work for long names.

It basically involves changing your will-be name from, say, account12345 to *account12345*. You must type in the stars when logging in, and they don't show up. So, as long as you keep it to yourself, you can give people your password and recoveries, swear they're right, and not be lying.

So, it basically depends on you, but, it works. Enjoy using it.

 

But then they are still wrong because you havn't told them about the *'s..

When you're making your account, let's say you want the name, "joe smith999", instead of actually putting "joe smith999" into the "what do you want your name to be?" bar, you put "*joe smith999*" into it. Then, you have to login as *joe smith999* but the stars dissappear ingame, they aren't shown, but they're needed for logging in. It's pretty much just for preventing your account from being hacked, but then, I spose the main method of hacking is keylogging, so they'll see the stars anyway...

And I don't really see how this could lead to bad things happening, but if you can give me a good reason I'll edit all my posts and request that the thread be locked/deleted.

I'm sorry but you make no sense, your saying create a account for example "Billy06" right? Then you go to the log in screen and type in *Billy06* instead of just Billy06 when either way you type it in you'll be logged in? Clarify more, add pictures so we can understand. Thanks.
