    Blackle will only save AN EXTREMELY SMALL (like... small enough to not be important) amount of energy IF AND ONLY IF you use a CRT monitor.

    If you have an LCD screen, don't waste your time.

    How exactly will saving power do anything? I think we need to build more energy production methods, so we wont have to worry about power. Not try saving power by using a black background.

    The only way that might possibly slow down the bad things on the environment may be shutting down every single damned factory in China, and so far as we know that isn't going to happen.

    For the people who support this: I don't know if you guys know, but even by going to the shops and buying a milk carton you aren't doing yourselves justice. Guess how that milk carton was produced.
