I want to make a forum, any idea?

I will make a forum soon, but I have no idea what it should be about.

Do you have any idea?

And of course I need som admin/mod there.

It should not have something with games to do..

So what are you thinking? any idea??

and of course how should I get the forum popular?

Ummm shouldn't you have an idea what is should be about first? It's your forum so it should be what your interested or knowledgeable in, not somebody else.

 

From my experience, if you don't know what forum should be on it has only a very small chance of becoming popular and well known. Even if you have a good idea, the chances of running a successful forum are slim.

 

And I can speak from experience, too.

Not to mention, there is already hundreds and hundreds of forums on the internet about anything. I see no reason to start another one.

 

uhg great just what the internet needs another form. Make a non-form website.

Its so daring it just might work.

 

You should make a new runescape, With wilderness.

Thats pretty impressive honestly.

 

Its a shit ton of work to get a forum that is well known and has alot of active members. I advise unless you have help and such get a team so your not the only one working on it and it will have different ideas on what you want on it. Your best way to advertise it to do the affiliate/vote site deal. Its free and can get you somewhere if you try and get alot of people voting for your site. I think you should just not make a forum and use the forums that people already have made, and are active.

Warez and movies seem to draw allot of attention to websites. Also private servers ( non RuneScape) of course.

 

you should have an united team to help enrich your forum when it's up...
and don't forget to promote your forum on other sites....

 

theres multiple forums for everything that i can think of. so ud get hardly any members. but thats just imo.

 

You can make a forum yourself almost anywhere, just search for one, but it's quite complicated if you're the master of the forum, there's lots of things you need to do under control.
