Duel arena tax update, yay or neigh?

so 18B/day... from 2016 to 2017 there was 6tril added to the game... Idk if anybody has numbers from 2017 to 2018 but if its about 10 tril then thats 27b/day added to the game. subtract and average of 18b from that and we're left with 9b. Idk how much the other gold sinks are but I think its fair to say that they have greatly reduced the gold flooding into the game with this update.

Also who are the degenerates gambling like 2 tril a day at the arena. What is wrong with you people

 

For the longevity of the game something like this had to be done, there is simply to much wealth in the game causing a massive inflation. With the way the current game was going there was no chance it could sustain a good economy within the next few years.

As far as the update itself I'm not a big fan of the new interface and I don't think it will ruin the game at all for the majority of players. The only people who are really complaining about this are the massive stakers.

 

Neigh cuz gold prices will go up

 

I think that this update is important, and was well needed. It's nice to generate a tax for the GP as it creates a gold sink. With the amount of GP going through the arena, the gold sink is actually meaningful. I wish they could have done something about the item staking being removed. The concept is the same, but honestly, with items being staked it makes it so much more entertaining.

Nobody will say "I just lost 600M maybe I should stake my T'Bow" ever again.

Its good for the game, bad for the black market. Imo will be healthy in the long run
