This is the last design i'm going to do, i'm sticking to this one... I need to stop tryign to make a perfect design... it's driving me insane...

Anywho, what're you thoughts and opinions on this design? What doesn't feel right about it? what do you think could be improved and how? etc.

 

That is hot!! Like the wood look. When will the acutal site be online?

 

That is very sexy. The only problem I see is that the teal-ish text doesn't fit with the rest of the page.

 

Good, just make the background a dark grey, not straight black.

Dude, that wood thing is awesome! Can't wait till it opens . Which layout out of the 2-3 are you using? The white grass one, some other one, and this one.

If i did that it would lose a lot of visual appeal and the headings would fall into the background. so no, it stays as is.

The color choice is to make the headings stand out to give it uniqueness against the rest.

i think it looks neat as it is. i think the black background makes the text stands more out, and its a great gradient from the tree theme.

 

Like it was mentioned before, the teal text doesn't fit right. I don't know about the title either... just doesn't seem to mesh with the wood... or at least that's what it seems like to me. It would be awesome if you turned the opaque of the black box down to 90-75 and put some wood patterns underneath that matches the headline design (kind of like the "Quick Contact Form" box.
Actually I don't think that would look very good... I don't know you could give it a shot..

One thing rather enjoyed was the navigation menus although the "home" button is too far to the left it seems.

All in all it's decent... nice job!

 

To compensate for what the users say here (keep in mind they are the consumer, so you should attend to their needs) lower the saturation on your text 50% or so. This gives you the same contrasting color, without any loss in impact.

I don't like the flame in the Quick Contact form. I also liked the smudging in the black box on the first one rather then the little curly design in v2.

I like the caps font you have.. Maybe you could make the first letter of each teal caption fancy... I don't know it looks good enough to me.
