    Im So Tank, as a beginner, you should start working your whole body every workout, after a few months you can start going onto a split routine where you work specific muscles with more intensity on different days.

    This is more of a conditioning question, but what is the best way in your opinion to get your testosterone/adrenaline pumping and what is your mindset when you're doing hard shit conditioning? I just wanted to know if you have a specific technique or something..

    There are testosterone boosters (supplements) available on the market but I wouldn't really reccomend them because you don't really need that stuff. Deadlifts and squats get your testosterone levels up, so never neglect them.

    ok.. 6 days a week of working out will leave your muscles clinging for life...

    i w/o 3 days a week and im in excellent shape :) , so dont push ur self

    6 days a week if not clever unless you are on an advanced split routine, 3 days a week is fine, and leaves plenty of time for recovery, the other days you could add in cardio.

    hey, thanks for the guide!
    ive been going to the gym for like um, 5 month already and... my gut doesnt want to make any improvements, even though i do all the exercises right and i have my own sqedual (sorry if spelled wrong) . Anyway , i heard of somekind of vid that shows ye how to get abs very quickly.
    Mby you could post me some vids like those?
    My chest,arms, legs and back are cinda ripped :).
    Planing to do a "How to workour right" vid my self.

    There are no special secrets, there is no such thing as "get abs quickly", if you want to see your abs, you need to reduce bodyfat through cardio and diet, and will need to have developed abs, you may already have a great set of abs, but the fat is covering it. Reduce your bodyfat.

    Why not work out everyday, but Sunday?
    It did vast improvements for me, and it makes recovery time less, and can increase your muscle mass, faster than usual.

    Good guide, Iv'e just turned 15 and the width of my tricep and bicep brachii
    is 16.5 inches on both arms. Been doing gym for about 1 year and 2 months
    now, i'm starting to get really big and really cut on my arms but no abs yet :rolleyes:



    Iv'e never used supplements

    i eat like a fatass and do w/e i want, theres no "secret" to building abs by eating right its just a balance.

    do you want skinny abs from doing a little excercise? or do you want large strong abs which actually have use. any skinny kid can get abs in a week but how about getting abs while benching a couple hundred pounds, curling 50 an arm and having legs the size of that skinny kids head?

    also, jogging works on lower abs crunches work upper
    no, just no, the extra work is not worth the extra muscle built. you will tire yourself out and probably overwork the muscles. the only muscles which you can work everyday are in the legs and abs. you will build muscle faster but you'll be working twice as hard on the muscle groups

    ghostehh, I meant diet as in eating the right food, natural, unrefined food, with the right amounts of fat, protein and carbohydrates, at the right time.

    owain jones, you may have abs because you naturally have low bodyfat and a high metabolic rate, and are pretty weak (ectomorph), which is why you can see abs.

    Jogging uses the lower abs but doesn't train them, abs are a muscle, and you must train them like a muscle, with the right amount of sets and reps, reverse crunches are a good lower ab exercise, along with hanging leg raises.

    im 5 foot 5 160 pounds, i have changed the metabolic rate of my body through bad eating heavy lifting and a ton of drugs. ive gained 40 pounds since last september and want to hit 170 by next school year. lower abs used when jogging but not trained? are you on crack? honestly you dont know what your saying. reverse crunches are for your back not your abs fool just stop with these bullshit replies when you dont know what your talking about

    I use Creatine and its proven to be very helpful

    but i also drink 120 oz+ of water daily to reduce my chance of kidney failure :eek:

    im on n.o. xplode and bsn true mass, n.o. xplode only has 1 gram of creatine per scoop so thats not really bad for you. the reason they recommend more water is partly because of the caffeine in it, which is harder on your kidneys but creatine is still an experimental drug even though no side effects have been proven. btw creatine is also in meat =p theres more at work
