Suggestion: Bumping Tab!

Recently I sore a sticky in the Black market about not bumping threads. What if you could have a bumping system, set up like the runescape forums, Where there is a "bumping tab" in the top right corner of the thread, Once you have bumped the thread twice, then you are not permitted to bump it again for the next few hour's or so.
This way it saves up Spamming/Post Counts.

What's your opinion on this idea?

I think it should be 1 bump a day seeing how this forum goes.

maybe when theres more people etc it can go a bit quicker, other then that this is a good idea. But I bet you got this from the runescape forums

Idiots like this who don't read the rules are the reason half of sythe fails.

I agree. Sometimes you are just too impatient to wait for someone else to post especially when you see your thread on the 2nd page.

That's a great idea. Though I don't completely understand what you're trying to enforce/suggest. A tab that bumps your thread to the top of the front page, and it doesn't increase your posts count, and it may be only used once or twice a few hours or so? That's a great idea.

1. They don't get there post count high, full of useless "BUMPSZ!"
2. It's really well organized, as you won't have a topic/thread full of "BUMP, BUMPSZ!, BUMPER, etc."
3. Members can't abuse It's power to bump, due to the few hours rule.

 

If it could be done well, with decent restrictions, I think it could be quite interesting

Saves all these fucking 'busy' mods infracting those 'naughty' kids for their terrible deeds such as getting their post count up for a 4 letter word.

I think that the 5 day no double post rule is stupid. And should be reduced to 3 days also.
Bump button could be engaged - and work once a day - along side no double post for 5 days.

 

I disagree because the point of not being able to bump is to let apparent dead or obvious scams die into page 2.

 

I really don't agree, because in the runescape forums you have to pay to be a part of, and on this forum anyone can come in and bump their threads, etc.... And on this forum if the topic isn't popular or nobody wants to buy w/e, it's going to die and so be it.

 

That wud be a waste adding a bumping tab for using it once-twice a day...People will always post on topics usually...Nd you can just reply to them on topic that will bump it up
