Obby mauler?

I've been trying to decide on whether or not to make an obby mauler on 07.

I've tried numerous 60 attack pures, I've tried a 50 attack pure, mains, skillers, you name it and I always seem to get bored and end up quitting over and over again so I'd like to maybe try something new?

I've been reading on roughly how long obby maulers take to make (1 attack, 60 strength, 55 slayer) and it says 60 strength itself takes about 3 days max, and it seems that it takes a good minute.

Just looking for some opinions what you guys think, or if you have an obby mauler yourself I wanna hear how you like it.

I'm more of a skiller but I think it looks awesome to have a pure with good stats aswell as high non combats, or any type of account with high non combats and good stats.

So feel free to comment on here and let me know your opinions, thoughts or suggestions.

just have mage and range balanced with ur str that it dosent effect ur cmb ( use mage wisely for slayer and range )for my mauler i had like 40ish mage 40s range at 86 str and 55 slayer and imbued ring done and still have alot of range/mage lvls i can play with and use for firecape attempt there is alot of guides on youtube

for nmz : have a main alt to reduce the demons hp and you last hit it with fire strike/bolt on ur obby less xp/ so you dont lvl and easier to get points and try to skip bad spawns

i used to enjoy bh pking and emblem farming with obby mauler is so easy ! at my lvl 48 with 86 str 13 pray hitting them 40s easly and 1-2 hitting gmaulers /rangers was a blast for a time for me

 

Thanks man, I've tried every account type there is and I just always end up bored so I'm thinking of attempting something new and starting fresh but I haven't decided just yet.

 

My obby mauler is one of my fav accounts.i say go for it

 

I had one for a bit, found it boring as fuck.

 

I also got real tired of Edge PKing real fast and there really isn't anywhere else you can go.

BUT, if you do make this account, you can also just make it into a gmauler, 60 atk/75 atk 1 def, or really anything because you are only training Str for the most part.

Very true but with a 60/75 attack pure there are many different spec weps you can try, and also deep wild pk. Obbys are so limited

 

There are very mixed opinions on obby maul pking, i personally do not like it, but some others love the style. I can lend you one for a little while if you want to see how it goes for yourself, just a very basic 1 attack 60 str one mind. Let me know

I don’t even pk much. I’m more of a skiller so to be honest I’d have a dope account with crazy good stats then skill and make my account look even better lol. And maybe pk a little when I feel the need.

i hadnt kept an account for over 10 years the max i got to was like 80cb and got bored. i started a HCIM a few months ago and i think iv passed most of my best achievements and the account is very enjoyable.

 

I've always wanted to make an ironman and get it to a substantial level like these famous ironmen on youtube. But I just don't have the time to dedicate to an account like that, I really don't have the time to dedicate to any accounts to be honest lol.

 

man i play like 3 hours a day and you just take small little chips out of it, like i got an obby cape drop yesterday and completed MM and it really makes you feel good

 

I still think the most successful maulers are 70-85 str with high range maybe 80+, using rune knifes to obby maul, maybe magic shortbow for spec

 

Yeah that does sound like an intense combo. Especially with the knives.
