    How to use a proxy!

Hello, are you blocked from your favorite site? Well I'll show you how to view it!

    Step 1: Finding a proxy

Firstly, we will need a proxy. There are many sites available that have working proxies, just type in proxies at google, and search. Now I for one have a favorite proxy site, which is http://www.proxy4free.com/page1.html

Now you have your proxy site, now to pick out a proxy. Here's what it looks like:

Next select a proxy from the list and move to step 2!

Step 2: Setting up the proxy

Now that you have your proxy, it's time to set it up! Follow these steps, then proceed to step 3.

Remember the proxy you picked? Put the ip into the http: proxy part, then put the put in the port part and proceed to step 3!

    Step 3: Checking your proxy

Now you have it set up, now it's time to check it! Go to http://www.ipchicken.com and see what your ip is hopefully it'll be the same as the proxy you picked. Here's my result

There now you're done, also note proxies don't have the same speed as if you were browsing regularly.

Quite a good guide. You've added pictures and a nice set-out step by step walkthrough.
    8/10.
Maybe try add a bit more detail, and add a warning for the newbies that altering proxy settings without sufficient knowledge MAY isolate the internet from connecting until they alter the settings back to normal.

    Great guide though! (Y)

    How to use a proxy!

nice guide. Personally i haven't had a good experience with proxies. A lot of the times when i need them to work they don't work. Most of the time they are extremely slow as well. i get so pissed using them because it takes literally for some of them 2 minutes to load a page. I don't know about yours but i hate proxies lol but i'll test yours out. Anyways anyone ever heard of ultra surf? my friend telling me its good proxies but i want to hear reviews from you guys as well.
