What's do you perfer? Windows xp or Vista?

When I moved from XP to Vista, I had no problem getting used to. It was like I had used it before. When I then used my other computer with XP about a few months after the last time I'd seen it. It was very hard getting used to, plus I thought my Vista was a little slow at times. XP was slow, it took it about 2 minutes to load Firefox. Vista took about 10 seconds at most. Might be because of the hardware.

That may be true, but the interface isn't any more appealing than that of XP. I personally prefer something like Gnome on Linux in terms of accessability.

Vista blows it slow as a woman who just gave birth. XP is better cuz u can put an alienware skin on it and it looks better already.

    1) If it was slow my laptop would be in the trash can by now.
    2) It depends on how fit the women is.
    3) The Alienware skin looks like SHIT.

What's do you perfer? Windows xp or Vista?

I like both, but nothing is really available on vista yet

    Vista :
Goods - Has a nice look, can restore to factory without disk.
Bads - To much security for me.

    XP :
    Goods - Has everything available.
Bads - Doesnt really have the best of looks still.

If i had to choose though, it would be xp.

Simple solution I find very satisfying: Dual boot XP and Vista.

You can disable UAC (User Account Control) if you really want. It isn't much of a hassle, and once that's done the administration prompts are no more.

PM me if you wish for details.

Lil_melo, the only thing you require for dual-booting is more harddisk space. You may run one or the other, and you get to select which one to run before either loads up in the boot manager. Common tactic for Linux/Windows users on a regular basis.

Windows Vista is ok, but XP is the winner. :)

More drivers are compatible with it.

What's do you perfer? Windows xp or Vista?

The only thing I hate about Vista is that I have to buy more RAM to run games like WoW. Even with 2 gigs it's still laggy while on XP I'd fly with 2 gigs.
