Asking Jagex for name change?

OK this is kinda a stupid question, but i really hate my name and i want jagex to change it, thing is, i cant contact them and i'd really hate to create another account and start over again... i dunno if any you guys/gals can help but if you can, big ups to you

 

Well, There is no way you can get a name change, i hate my name on runescape also, but theres no way to change it. There are many rants about this on the official runescape forums.

 

I was actually thinking about getting a black mark for offensive language or something, and instead of appealing, i'd just ask for a name change or something lol... doubt theyd even consider listening, damn you jagex!

 

I tried it before they made some gay excuses like it is what it is.

yeah, many people have tried this - guess the name WAS important afterall.

 

There is a way that is shown on www.sp0rk-eh.com, but it's in the private section and im and admin so i can see it

I am not sure if this is accurate or not. But, I have had it for a while and never bothered using it. It could be worth a try.

Again, I have no idea if that is Jagex or not, but it could be worth a try calling them and asking for a name change.

And yes I know that Jagex is based out of the UK.

If you read the runescape terms and conditions you would know the answer to this question .

 

Just tell them you're being constantly harassed by someone and changing your name would help you. Hopefully you'll have a lazy mod that won't look through chat logs and change your name for you.

It works. Got one changed then sold the name for 5mil. This was like... way before Jagex fucked up the market (thank god).

 

Jagex wont change your runescape name. The chances of them changing it are about as good as the chances you have of guessing zezima's password.
