07 Gold Prices?

Is there a time of year that gold prices are typically cheaper? I was just wondering when would be the best time to buy some.

 

Yea I wondering the same thing about price.
What made it fall so much from two years ago? Wasnt it like 1.40/mil?

 

Stakers saturating the market and the introduction of discord. Discord brought the community together and made it easier for people to obtain large amounts of gold. Instead of having to go to websites a lot of users go direct to the source (The Stakers) Now everyone is connected and front end margins on gold sales have plummeted. The websites are feeling it the most. They have overhead

Typically between summer and winter is cheaper i feel (as people dump what they made over summer holidays and its before christmas holidays). If you look on playerauctions you may find graphs depicting average prices.

 

Currently the price of gold has risen 10-15% in 2 days. Ban wave + big whale cleaning xers = higher gold price. The market is literally dry right now. Ive sold gold as high as .78 when i was buying it for .62 a week ago

That I have no idea of. I think its crazy to hold large amounts of gold for any period of time in runescape anymore. However I know a staker was banned for 86b I believe a few weeks back. Wont say any names for privacy reasons.

Well it also depends on rs3. You can easily swap from either server and inflate what you have. The richest known player is that degen from England who beat his own mother. I believe hes in jail or was. Rs3 player from what I understand.

 

Ahh thats explains alot. I saw some gold websites are paying .70/mil While some of the private buyers/middle men were buying for .80-.85. Low overheard.

 

Twitch prime free month made bonds crash a bit thus making gold rise a bit also

Noticed personally prices getting cheaper, I always assumed inflation since most sought after items seem to rise. Now seems a good of time as ever imo to get some. Of course I'll always buy if needed regardless of the market just to save myself time in trying to make money.

 

No one was paying .80 or .85 unless you purchased from a website. The highest i was able to sell for two days ago during an extreme shortage of gold was .78
