Do You Support Us Troops??

Hey Everyone, as you may or may not know, I am a Soldier in the United States Army. I just wondering what you guys thought about us in general and oour actions.


I don't really care if you don't like us, as i am very open to opinion, so don't be afraid to speak your mind



All I know to say is Army Strong lol

I support every single one of you...I don't know how you feel about being over there but my brother is stationed in Baghdad and has been over there since septembers...It's been really hard on our family but we are really proud of him...anyways...yeah I do support them

 

I think you guys are great and i support everything you do but i just don't support the governments decision on some of the things they make you do. For example the war in Iraq. But i know thats not your fault anyway.

 

Yeah the war has been drug out to long i do believe but if you look at it in one sense, someone has had their life saved because of the war. There's people out there today that still live because we chose to fight this war.

We can only hope and pray that we are doing it for the right reasons no matter what it looks like from the outside.

i support all the troops that are anywhere... they are doing what they think is right.. besides the 1 i saw a vid of on youtube throwing a dog lol.. but i dont saupport some of the choices that the troops are being given... but overall.. GO TROOPS AND GO AMERICA lol

I just don't understand why people join the army in the first place, no offense ofcourse, it's your choice, but I am against violence.
Ofcourse they help when there is a (natural) disaster, but what is being so great about being send out?(That's why they want you in the army, to fight for your country) You are away from your family, there is a fairly big chance of being killed if you're in a war, and you have to take peoples lives away (when needed), that seems horrible!

on people who dont want it? They have lived that way for THOUSANDS
of years, and all of a sudden were going to go in and be like hey this is
better, so do it... No, thats ridiculous.

 

The way I see it, Is if you were in the army before The war started then I support you 100% or if you were planning on joining before this fiasco of a war started, But if you joined during the war because of the war I personally think you are a idiot for helping kill tons of people who simply wanted there country how it was and was led by a idiot who was led by his daddies past ambitions and a country of people to ignorant to realise the "terrorists" were from egypt not iraq.

How would you figure this? It is not like saddam had a daily sacrifice ritual or something, he was simply a dictator much like many other countries. You saying you saved a few lives does not make up for the 1000's you killed.

 

You're missing the point. The war isn't the focus, it's the courage behind it. Not very many people are for this war, I'm in the NAVY and I don't support it, or my commander and chief at all. However, none of us are about to stop doing what we are taught to do.

Fuck this war, but respect the people, the soldiers, who proudly stand up and fight for their country blindly. It may seem stupid to some, but freedom isn't free, we are the defenders.

Defend her against foreign and domestic enemies. .

Do you understand military law at all? Ever hear of a "UCMJ"?

Let me put it to you this way buddy, we serve our country, we don't serve you or your morals. We do what's best, no matter what. It's what we're trained to do... They tell us to jump on a hand grenade, we'll do it.

To more point, it's not our duty to do "pretty things"... we don't like what we have to do, but we'll do it because we're told it's what's best for our country.

Very few people choose to go to war... The majority choose to serve their country, and defend her against all enemies, foreign and domestic... if that means shooting a couple of innocent third world country children because they endanger our country's fiber... then by all means we'll do it.

I think the American army contains lamb chops and wool. Because you guys are sheep. I don't really want to get into it to much because this will take yonks, but this is the ultimate tell of following the pied piper off the cliff. Nothing has been achived and many a soldiers have died and for what? brownie points with other nations even though we have all pulled out. Sen. Obama has the right idea, pull them out A.S.A.P. and not because he is Muslim its because he can see this is just a flex of the U.S's muscles.
I am probley gonna get flamed by those 'we hate dem Muslims, not cause dey dem black colour, but because me a american and we dem patriots'. But that was my two cents, so in other words no I do not lol.


oh god you got me going. The Matyrs and extremisits will fight to the death and take out as many people as they can doing it. since they can walk they have ahd a gun and trained for hours on end every day. You guys think you can beat them, you are dreaming. if you kill one two more will plop out and they will take to the skies, the water or just damn walk to your country and kill you. This war is agrevating their whole belife of 'americans are the devil' I think that they should be left alone to do their own jazz and just put heavy damn sanctions on their as@@s

 

I don't support the US Government's decision to invade Iraq, but I support the soldiers who are there. They signed up to defend their country. It wasn't their decision to go.

 

I support the troops because their keeping my country safe, without them we would be lost nations. I don't support war though I wouldn't support it unless it was crucial to the worlds continuation.
