I get it, and I tried it..it works.

The point is to fool other players into thinking ur a noob, and dont have a red skull... 180 secs with red skull = ftl

 

First of all, you would be in f2p...where a clan can hold you for like 1 hit.
Second, you wouldnt lose anything to begin with even if you killed your partner the second time cuz u shuld have enough food to survive for like 30 seconds.

so basicaly!

the seller does NOT go in with the kiteshield the first time.
you kill him, and u get his bones, ur line is still at 1, so no1 would want to kill you.
when he reenters, your timer should still be at 60 seconds, by the time he finds you, and u kill him, ur time should be up, so u pick up item, then log.

In other words, He means you get a penalty.. Say you have about 60 seconds left, You just kill the guy... Wait til ur 60 second penalty is up, then pick up kite and you won't have penalty.

 

I didn't get it much..I just use the kill and leave before their death emote is finished...Works for now.

He means:
If the person with the kite first went in and got killed by the person needing the kite.
And the person who killed him picked up the kite
Then if the kite was the only item the person who picked it up had
Would he be able to turn on the "protect an item" prayer and keep the kite if he dies?

I was wondering the same thing ?

 

If the first time with the penalty your partner didn't protect the kite for some stupid reason.... u would have a penalty and not be able to use protect item prayer on a penalty.

According to this, penalty ISN'T reset to 180 seconds the second time you kill?

 

If you cannot leave, then if you kill your partner again your can't leave penalty will not reset, although if u do pick up an item in that time period, it WILL reset.

 

I knew about this before, about the pen thing. But never thought of using it to RWT. Good find.
