Proposition from Deacon (and TDD? :D)

Well, I haven't even asked Mat yet... but anyways.


I developed a random password generator using javascript, and mild PHP... TDD did some graphics, and we posted it as a parallel to SMR's program.

My proposition is some coding.

I'm working on my own sites, but seeing as it's not too demanding... I'll offer to do some stuff for Sythe on the side... Sites and shit.


Basically all I'd need was suggestions on what to make, being told from the staff what to do and such...

Maybe form a team of programmers to work on shit.

It'll be fun .

Short, simple, effective script. Works just like that of SMR's password generator application with some minor alterations. Being that it is accessible on the web, it can be used by anyone and everyone. There are several needs for programs out there, but no one has the time or the knowledge to make them. I am proposing to be given that right (sort of like a contract) to do such for Sythe. Whereas, certain suggestions will be taken into account, if deemed to be needed enough, the script will be written and hosted at no charge so the users of Sythe may use it whenever they feel like it.

Why I included TDD, is because of his quick graphics and CSS skills. If it gets big enough, I'd suggest having a few more well knowledgeable people working on such scripts. This would give Sythe an extra bit, rather than just the forums, and applications. Web Development is a big area, and having things available at the snap of a finger can bring in fresh blood.


Basically, we re-open the DEV team, except we make them Web Based. I have a whole summer of fun shit, so I love piling on more. After the summer, you can do whatever you wish with the web apps. If Richard wants, he can put them on sythe.org, or I'll put them on Downstage, that doesn't really matter.
