B) I found prom to be a waste of time.

D) The only reason we find prom to be a waste of time is because there's no real point to it. It's a social gathering of people you see daily, dancing and listening to music like normal.

I'm sure for some people prom is meaningful, but others find other activities to be equal, or of greater importance.
