This really is a joke. I have been waiting over a week for the guide to send. You would think even if he didn't have the internet he could still get on some other way. Who else is waiting?

I'm waiting also. I still don't think he is trying to scam us, more that he isn't putting much of an effort into getting us our guides. I'm with you though, it's been a week, that is alot of time to be able to create some way of getting his customers the guide.

he is having problems, the file url is saved to his computer and so is the file. he said his computer is broken so he cant get on much at all. the only way he used to be getting on(when he was slowing down) was at school, and now that school is out he cant get on. im shure hes working on a way to get on and notify people of the guide but it looks like hes having a hard time.

 

Merchant said he'd stop selling the guide.

Seeing as it's not entirely original (at least not exclusive)... I'm really hoping he'll keep up his word and not ruin it for everyone for personal gain.

He thinks that it'll take thousands of people to ruin the guide. No, only dozens. Seeing as how it's been posted on zybez, and even random variations from "guide-sellers" here.

If you guys really want a guide, with better profit margins... they are out there. I know this guide, and I'm sure my methods are superior, seeing as it's limited to a measly percent gain per day.

I've been vouching for this guide all along, and I do indeed make money with it. I've gone from 1 million to 17 million in about 14 days, working 15 minutes twice a day (more often the first few days), and selling nothing remotely rare or expensive. It still works for me, but mainly because I've modified it somewhat (in a way that most others who buy the guide probably won't duplicate).

That said, I'm withdrawing my recommendation to purchase this guide. In the initial thread, Merchant stated that he was going to sell ten copies of this. If you go through the thread, you'll find at LEAST 15 people who have vouched for or inferred that they've purchased this guide and are using it, plus some who have purchased it but haven't received it. Anybody who wants to go through this thread and see what I mean.

It's my opinion (and not necessarily true or untrue) that Merchant is selling "a few more copies" for as long as anybody will pay him for it. It wouldn't surprise me if 25-30 (or more) of these have been sold already for whatever people will pay.

Also, I've found the exact same method listed in two other guides that have been sold here and elsewhere,and the general principle has been posted on this and at least two other websites. This is not something that Merchant is the only person to think of. I was using a variation of it on my previous character, long before balanced trading or the Grand Exchange: back when traders stood in various places around the Varrock Bank on World 1 (and 3, 4, and 5), or Falador's park and east bank on World 2.
