Starting Your Computer Up Faster

    Starting Your Computer Up Faster
    This simple guide will teach you how to start up your computer faster
    by turning off programs that are automatically started when you turn
    on your computer.

    Step 1: Go to Run and type msconfig like so

    Step 2: A box will pop up go to the right top corner and click startup like so
    [​IMG]

    Step 3: You will see a list of programs, these are the programs that are
    initiated when your computer is turned on. You can control which programs
    you do not want to turn on here.

    Step 4: Hit apply and your good to go

    Nice guide, i used to do that on my old computer but this one has Vista so i don't know how to do it =\.

    For Vista users, type "msconfig" into he search thing and hit enter and it will come up.

    guide is fine, just problem is that it, the pics are old according to the new versions of Windows ect. Also u should have a mac guide also for this :D
