What to do with 4800 steel bars....

Okay, so I've now smelted 4800 steel bars, originally I was gonna make them into cannonballs, but I dont actually know how to make them, plus they give less xp and are apparently slow to make...
Is there anything I can make out of steel that I can make that will actually sell for a good profit (cannonballs were translating to almost 4mil).

I suggest you sell them. If you'd like to make money that is.

 

To make cannon balls you need to have completed the Dwarven Cannon quest.

Making cannon balls IS a slow process, i would make steel body plates except you won't make much money from it but its great exp and really fast. Also if you then alch the plates (as most people do) it will give you a decent amount of magic experience.

 

Steel bodies it is.

 

I wouldn't go for cannon balls.
In theory they are good money, however by the time you have smelted them all you could have mined 5k coal, hence more money, more constructive.
If your keen to get some smithing and magic experience, make steel plates and alc them.
Or if you would like smithing + ranging experience make some bolts, knives or arrows.
Or if you would like to make a few million GP. Sell the steel bars.

N.B To make cannon balls you must complete the "dwarf cannon" quest.
On completion you will receive a cannon ball mold.
With steel bars in your inventory and the cannon ball mold, use a steel bar with the furnace.

 

Make bodies + alch ...

Or make knifes + sell

Or sell balls , buy iron ores + forging rings then make bodies + alch / knifes + sell

 

drop them in fally at 9:00 on W124 please i love getting 5k steel bars :O

 

just, sell them and buy iron.
alot more exp for the money.

 

And buy iron ores instead of iron bars ! for the maximum performance !

i say you make steel plate's and alch but thats just my thought's

 

Just make cannonballs or sell the steel bars.

 

To make cannonballs you need a cannon ball mould which can be bought from the g.e and you need the bars in your inv. Then you just smelt.

 

Get ur smithin up, use the steel bars, then make sum addy bars (if ur minin is high enough). They sell for heaps...

I used to make steel bars, then make them into steel plates. Then I'd high alch the plates, and get a bit of profit. It got me to 68 smith because it gives the highest amount of xp for steel items, and the alch was like 2.2k ea I think.

 

i agree...use the steel plate method...it got me for 2k bars from about 53 smith to about 60 or 59 smithing...so its a good stratigy
