Recovery Test?

Hi! How would I go about performing a recovery test on an account I’m planning on buying!

 

Well he sends you all info then you click forgot password on RuneScape and use his info to try and recover

 

Wouldn’t that just send you to the email recovery? Or is there an option beyond that.

 

You click that you don’t know the email then type in the info

 

You can do a recovery test with a middleman I guess, they will sort it for you. (Use someone trusted, mod+)

 

You click forgot password and it'll take you do another page than it'll ask for all the needed information such as isp date of creation etc. Very smart what you're doing as you can recover it back yourself, just don't leave to much on that account. good luck

Why does it ask for recovery answers even though there are no questions to go with it?

 

There used too be security questions. They don't give it out anymore tho.

Keep in mind that even with a Recovery test, It can still be recovered.

Recovery tests are sort of pointless as there isn't really a way to verify that they are giving you the original passwords. A recent password will do, and you can simply find the account age at Hans.

 

Doesn’t really mean anything, if you can recover he account with information the seller provides, there still nothing stopping them from recovering using the same info.

 

Along with what everyone else is saying. If theres a huge difference in IP location you may not be able to recover it even with all the right information. But they would be able to recover it themselves based on their IP
