I think there should be a forum in which you must post your guide there to be verified(the forum would be viewable only by mods/admins etc:, so you can be certain it won't be leaked) After verification, you can post your guide as long as you include the quote the mod/admin gave you in the main post, i.e "Louis :)'s guide(the guide name) verified by Finniscool"

I think this is a great idea so that people don't spam the thread posting about verifying their guide.

If only mods and admins could see it, then we wouldn't be able to see the quote. If you clicked the link, if you're not a mod, you wouldn't be able to see it unless they posted it on your thread in the regular forum.

This would make people try and fake it etc.

    Anyone could do it etc.

Therefore, they'd have to post on your normal thread saying verified, so why make another forum? They can just browse the normal section and verify guides there. There's already a rule that prohibits people asking to verify guides.

The old system works, but allot of people don't see the new rule. The "No asking to verify" rule is only a recent edition to that section and hasn't been enforced.

    1.) Information should be free.

2.) That section causes more problems that guides that it's sold.

3.) Almost all guides get leaked.

I agree, but if people want to get their guides verified, maybe a verifer rank that verify guides for free. That way people would just PM a person before they post it, get it verifyed by an offical person then sell. Maybe make it easier?

SuF thats an amazing idea, but it would be alot of work to set up and get going. But in the near future if they were to slowly work this into sythe, it would be great.

I suggest this. Guides may NOT be sold unless they are verified by a "verifier" and that "verifier" must set a price, very similar to signatures. Also, for the service, verifiers must be paid a fee. Why? Im so sick of all the BS guides being sold. I have seen the tokkul guide sold over a million times by many people, its VERY COMMON and people actually waste money on it.

This also frustrates me because people like Wizzi sell some bullshit 10M an hour guide, which is actually a guide on how to set up a private server. When I try and sell my guide, it would be devalued simply because mine only made 1M an hour, and it was a real guide that was an exploit stopped 1 month after being found.

And now-a-days many guides that are being sold, people post that they need a verifier and then 30 people post, and people CONTINUE to post after the guide has a verifier.

I also believe that we need verifiers..... Speical mods just for such a thing... I do not believe that they need a fee to verify because this is just kind of lame....I dont want to have to pay 2.50 USD for some one to verify my guide... I dont think verifiers should be the ones to set a price, i believe they should suggest a price but not set one, to let the buyers decied if they are willing to pay 20 usd for a 5 usd guide.

Not to mention BS guides are the reason half of our favorites are banned.

    *cough*Miklman*cough*

Guides are purely dumb, people should share their ideas, or keep it to themselves.

If we get a "Verifier" rank, they should be free, not required, and have no moderator powers.

of course, but the verifier rank should be given to middle men and ex middlemen. And no charging for the service.

I do have to agree with Zypur.

If you want to sell information, do it away from the site, at your own risk. Would save the mods a shed load of hassle.

    NOOOOO

there goes getting my free guides.

    Lol jk.

I have not verified a guide in quite some time.

But onto the main issue, yeah, that would probably be more effective
    Maybe a guide verifier rank?

Mods are fucking lazy ... Theres no way some of them would go through the bullshit some of you write.

The Verifier rank, however, is a good idea.
Although there is a post about no new ranks (oh the fucking irony).
There should be a team of 5.
Lets say there has to be like a preliminary before anyone gets chosen -
like why they want to be etc etc. It shouldnt be limited to ex-middlemen etc.

There are some people on the forums who are perfectly capable of doign such things - and theres still a glimmer of hope for some honesty to grow.
