What's your opinion on when you die?

Well, I born again as someone else, I know that sounds crazy, but that's what I believe in.

Was Robin Hood believe in God . If he was , He would go to Heaven . If he wasn't , He would go to the hell

I think someone answered this be4 ( Shredder I think ) in prev pages . Go and read . The benefit from this threads is to get everyone opinion and choose the best . So u should be always read to change ur mind . Or Having open mind .

Why is the "something for everyone" topic always filled with religious arguments?
I do believe in Christianity, but the fact of explaining it to someone who doesn't is daunting and i really couldn't be fucked. Let those who believe do so, and those who don't be that way.

 

Something for everyone is a forum for arguing and everyone explain his point of view . I have already said that be4 in this page. If u think that u r right in something then u should tell others to benefit from it like u. So , if everyone have something will keep it to himself then this forum wouldn't be existed.
It's not always about religious. There are threads about Nasa , Vegeterian , and everything that anyone brought. But the most hot threads always belong to relgion as everyone keep thinking if he was in the right way. Wat if he was making mistake and other ppl right.....etc

 

I like to think about the idea of reincarnation, but Personal Jesus has a very valid point - If reincarnation was the answer, there would be the exact same number of people on earth.

Other then that, I like to believe that you just remain there. Lifeless, and, well, game over as you put it.

 

Most of the belief of what happens when you die is the religion you were brought up in so I kind of agree with the idea that nothing happens when we die we just die and nothing else, and that we are reborn as a new child with no memory of our past. Now all of the religions might have a bit of truth in them, like there was 1 religion then some guy went off created his own
by taking a bit of the real truth and making some of his own stuff up and then more people started to do that so basically there might be parts of the truth scattered throughout all of the religions, just my opinion.

Reincarnation is a wild stab in the dark, just like "that heaven/hell shit".

 

I always think of it as if your sleeping, but sleeping with no dream. You remember nothing, and time passes without your knowing.

 

The electrical signals that make up everything we are die out, and you become a lifeless collection of carbon based matter, and eventually get broken down by tiny bacteria and return to the earth by giving life to plants, and those plants giving life to animals that eat them.

 

When you are dead, two angels will be next to you asking you questions about your whole life. Trust me without a shadow of a doubt this is going to take place.

 

I believe when you die, your dead. Thats it, nothing happens, you feel nothing, think nothing, see nothing etc etc. Your just nothing.

 

anyone ever had like deja vu? i know it may sound wierd but sometimes i feel like nothing is real its all wut you belieave it to be you have no free will life is just a story has a begining a middle and a end. our universe existing seems so far fetched to be just coincidence all i can say is live your life happy and with no regrets.

 

When you die nothing happens. There is no heaven or hell. Your life ceases to exsist. It's not like your eyes are closed and it's just blackness and you can continue to think. It is nothing. You become nothing. You have no thoughts, no feelings, no anything. It's pretty hard to comprehend, because you would think "how can I have no thoughts?" well, when you die there is no more thinking or anything. You're just dead. So truely it doesnt matter, because you can't think about once you're dead. You don't have to be like sitting in the darkness for all of infinity, because that's how long it would be. And if you did go to heaven, do you know how horrible it would be, siting around for all inifinity? For forever? That ridiculous..infinity never ends, you'd be alive FOREVER, and that'd be pretty damn scary if I have to say so myself.

 

Trust me without a shadow doubt, that's will not happen. Who are these angels? Where did they come from? If they used to be real people, why are they now the "death-greeters?" And if this would happen, so you just go to heaven for all of eternity? That would suck, after a couple million years, I'd want my life to cease, and to end.

 

You know, I'm all for protecting people's rights to have their beliefs, but you really shouldn't present an ideology as fact if you have no way to back it up.

How do I know this is true?? Because my religion says so, and if my religion says so, I can definitely count on not getting a totally biased answer, so it MUST be true, right?
