    My friend just sent me a picture of someone banned for activating a twitch prime membership.

    Getting banned due to twitch prime?
    I fail to believe this, as ive seen the picture, and here are my reasons to believe why it's not real

    > One source of the photo from a shady FB group (tried goolge image search, nothing comes up)
    > Nothing on reddit
    > No warning of any sorts from Jagex about this, for people to avoid free prime accounts etc
    > A big part (i assume) of the legit playerbase has used these fake accounts to claim the promotion reward, banning everyone permanently doesn't make sense.
    > The reason stated is Undue Payment (Twitch Prime), and it states the account has been permanently banned, currently Jagex for chargebacked services (RuneCoins, Membership etc) lock your account until the "debt" is paid.

    I used my RWT alias to connect to my Runescape account through Twitch Prime and I havent been banned yet, actually playing as we speak.

    The last one sounds about right, but how would you end up in that situation after using the twitch prime promotion?

    Getting banned due to twitch prime?
    One of my friends shared a picture in discord which seemed to be after reviewing it photoshopped, but of course would still like to see any information on it. The ban happened on the 23'rd of July, prime released on the 26'th of July, meaning 3 days difference on bans.

    Just wondering if anyone else has heard of any issues.
