Received ban on Max main 2000+ Total Level

I just wanted to discuss this topic to get some closure.
Ive recently been perm banned for rwt on my max main.
Ive rwt a couple of bill already, and on many many occasions have bought osrs gp ranging from 100m-500m, so thought rwt 1.2b would not be a problem.
I rwt with the same person that i usually would. We did 250m each trade and traded trash items as well to multiple accounts. This also happened at 4 am in the morning.

I still have 5b on the account so it kind of sucks to get banned as this was my last rwt transaction until I was actually starting to play the game and also seriously get into streaming which is quite the bummer.

What did I do wrong this time to get the perm ban this time for rwt rather than the many other of times that ive done it? Was it maybe the sellers end that messed up? what is maybe because it was so early in the morning and easy to track?

Just would like to heard some opinions and other stories that you guys may have that are similar.
Really need some closure on this as this was a huge hit time wise and financially (as i said before, I still have 5 freaking bill left in the bank).
Any recommendations where I can continue on from here? Im thinking of just using the 1.2b that i sold to buy another maxed main acc

 

You did several 250m instead of just doing it all at once, and maybe "staking" it over would have been better.

 

Yes thats very true, ive always thought about rwting through "staking", I feel like that is a method that is very hard to pass off as rwt as you may have gotten scammed for a large amount as huge amounts of cash are transfered through stakes. This is how i originally bought my max main account was staking the selling and intentionally losing 500m to buy the account. If I ever do rwt to sell large amounts of gp this way, this will be my main way of doing it.

I just figured that since ive done ~100 different rwt transactions of buying consistently 100-500m's that jagex do not monitor this as seriously.
Im also wondering if by selling my first large amount (3b) which was a week ago, if I got put on some kind of watch list?

 

Erm. Yeah. I got banned on my zerk that I pk with a lot and do random shit on. I trade 100m - 200m daily between friends (Not RWT) but it seems that on the day that I was banned for RWT'in (trading in lumbridge). Something was fishy about lumbridge (random people trading me and hoping around) . Did you trade the money in the same exact places each time?

 

Yeah damn now that I think about it, I usually buy my gp at the duel arena bank and have never ever had a problem with that, but the first time I’ve ever sold gp was last week (3b) and this morning (1.2b which got me banned) was at the Lumbridge church

 

Yeah, It seems like the Jagex J-mods are monitoring lumbridge which is actually fked because everyone does their sales there.

What I suggest: Building multiple random accounts and storing the money there and using it to trade. USE A VPS to avoid getting IP-Chain Banned.

By the way, were you using a VPN?

 

Trading trash items doesn't help it makes it look even more suspicious that you're buying a lobster for 200m?

 

Yeah atleast im learning to be more careful as ive been quite reckless in the past. It definitely seems lumbridge is highly monitored. I will keep away from doing business there at all costs especially during down times. Duel arena has always been a reliable rwt spot for me atleast.

I dont blame the seller at all. I understand this is a risk/against osrs rules. I feel like I would be much more pissed off than I am considering I lost my max main that ive put thousands of hours into as well as 5b. But shit happens in life and I have to move on. Buying another max main wont be to tough and will probably only be a month's earning at work to buy (which is cool with me).

I also am not at all familiar with VPN but I should definitely learn more and look into that as i've heard a lot about VPN's and it's uses.

Also good to know that rwt bans are manual. Now i really believe it was just a bad storm that added up to it being very early morning (slow on osrs), trading in a policed area (lumbridge) and doing multiple trades (250m+junk items) making it look suspicious as well.

 

Yeah i agree. Ive always thought that bans for rwt are not exactly manual so if you traded junk items it would mess with the ban system. But i guess im completely wrong

 

I also did not expect rwt as a first offense to be a perm ban. I thought it would be a warning or 3 day ban whatever. If I got a warning for this then it would deter me from rwt and being very careful with my account. But rules are rules and I gotta live with the harsh reality of it

 

Even staking isnt safe man , i rwt staked 1.5b on my main and it got permed . Theres nothing that can be done sadly , submit an appeal and move on. Sorry mate.

You know i say this in general but most people (including myself) get use to the easy methods of buying or selling. Example lumbridge varrock g.e etc, it's Just how comfortable someone gets in a situation.
I don't know how to avoid jagex's system but i do know you can always try to evade and make it harder for them to catch you.
Try any and every different method that no one uses. I understand it's normal when you buy or sell gold to a website and they say "308 lumb bank" so just get your own gp your own trust and use your own methods. It should help.

yeah ill usually use like aribagold and they sell at duel arena and ive done around 100 transactions with them and no problem ever. But they are so damn expensive.

And I'm wont be quitting. You can never quit rs ;P I'm looking to buy another max main with better stats with the gold that I was able to sell

 

Careful buying a max main, might just get scammed... tbh i would make a fresh acc and have someone just powerlevel a lot of stats for you and do all the quests. Could put that gold to use like that

happened to me i didn;t even rwt from the account that got banned i traded to mules and sold my gold from them it was a shock horror this was over 9 months ago lost a very good account was in top 50 rank hunter and thieving hope the rebuild goes well homie

 

Either sell/buy via staking or dying to the other person for expensive items in the wild (only with mates I trust), as that makes it look pretty legit, compared to just trading over gp.
