What pets do you have/had, and what do you recommend?

Dogs require lots of walking and looking after, everyday. It's almost like a child. BIG commitment so ready yourself if that's your choice

Well based on what you've said. I think a tarantula would be great for you, I use to have one and she was awesome because they live in dark places only, you feed them crickets maybe 2-3 times a day and it's just cool to pick her up and play with her. I'll warn you though, they don't need sunlight at ALL. and their legs aren't as durable as you might think so be careful with that as they don't heal back.

Dogs, can't beat them as pets.

 

I recently got myself a cat of an exotic breed - serval. I really wanted this breed, but earlier I didn’t assume what responsibility it was. He is not affectionate and not playful, but I already managed to love him, so now he is my favorite.

 

We have had few hamsters and one dog. Now planning to get a new doggo to our family

 

Pets should be in every home, at least fish or hamster. We have a family of chinchillas living in our house, these animals are very cute and do not cause problems.

 

I feel like everyone needs to own a hamster once in their life
