Headphones on tv

Probably a dumb question , how do I hookup a pair of headphones too my tv? It's a 4k flat screen , I doubt it has Bluetooth but is there a way too use Bluetooth headphones and have all the sound come out of the headphones only and not my tv ? Or if that's not possible how do I hook up regular headphones too them ? I'd need a long ass cord too? Basically just too watch the built in Netflix app on the TV not too connect too a game station or anything like that . Thanks for the help also If there's anything I need too buy can you give me like a Amazon or ebay link too a good quality one ?

 

Use a cable. Not a lot of tvs offer Bluetooth support and when they do they usually only use it for file transfer. Find out how far you’re going to sit from the tv and get a cable that matches it. Nobody is going to tell you how far to sit from the tv..

 

what kind of cable ? like is it a hdmi into headphone jack cable ? or the red white yellow into a headphone jack ?

 

Just a headphone jack. There's extension cables available in all sizes too if the cable on your headphones are too short.
