You are responsible if you get hacked.

What about Pms, This rules should be changed to You must be PMed.

 

My interpretation of the rule is and has always been the following:

If it can be proven that you were hacked and that someone was scammed (the main reason PM's are suggested is that it makes the proof easier), then you are responsible to pay it back. Why? No one asks for PM's, particularly when they know the person they're trading with. If you get hacked, the consequences are your own fault, far more than they are the fault of the person who trusted you.

You simply can't build loopholes into the rules; you can build them into specific circumstances, if you wish, but the rule contradicts itself with anything more. In the pm example, you make it okay for people to scam, sell their accounts to make it look like they were hacked, etc.

I believe the PM mention was mostly meant to encourage traders to get them, in all trades. It is nice to get one. You're far more likely to get repaid if you do. But - it is not necessary.

 

^ yes its not neccisary but its much release of stress to a trader.

 

Uhh also for the secure passwords not only is the symbols a great idea but also you can now do capital letters, meaning it throws brute force or any other lame excuse back in a lot of years. Just sayin and thanks for the rule, I'm new but lookin forward to it

For those of you who actually know chemistry, that's over 221 Moles.

I never MM or buy anything from Sythe so hacking my msn is pointless. I don't believe we should be penalized for an incident like this to happen.

I think it is somewhat your responsible if you get hacked. You maybe didnt see if your computer had a virus.
