Dragonball Super Movie - Broly vs Goku vs Vegeta vs Frieza

I’m so hype honestly wish it would have been I new Saiyin not broly.

 

Got goosebumps watching the trailer, so excited

 

It's not cannon AFAIK.

I'll watch it, but in saying that - don't see the point of Goku fighting people unless they are Gods/Angels/Jiren level, since he has UI. Obv we wont see UI in this movie, but it's kinda pointless IMO having shown it in the DBS series, only for it to never be used. We basically all know Goku is stronger, but not using UI seems like it's just a waste of the whole ToP arc.

 

To be honest this might be the strongest opponent they have fought yet. If you recall way back when Whis was training Goku and Vegeta, he had them training in base form in order to reach their full potential. Goku and Vegeta could only defeat difficult opponents by relying on transformations (Super Saiyan, Ultran Instinct, Fusion). If you pay close attention to Broly in the trailer you can see that Broly is easily dominating Goku, Vegeta, and Frieza while being in base form. Broly has reached a higher level than Goku and Vegeta due to the fact that he has trained for all these years in base form.

Akira Toriyama has stated that Broly will have a different origin story in order to tie into Dragon Ball Super. This is a theory, but what if Broly was the evildoer who attacked Jiren when he was younger? We never found out who the evildoer was, but for some reason they could not kill Jiren. If you look at Broly you can see that he has scars - could this be from Jiren? Which would of possibly made Broly retreat. If it was indeed Broly... this movie will be super (no pun intended) interesting and I wonder how it will tie into the future of Dragon Ball.

 

Will be a fun experience.

 

After getting back into DB (Thanks super) for the first time since I was a kid, this'll be the first movie of the series that'll I be seeing in theaters. Super Hyped!

have u watched all of dragonball super yet? i'm waiting for English dub to come out it's taken so long

 

My friend re introduced me to the series with Battle of the Gods, and we sped through what was currently dubbed (40 or so episodes), then I finished the series watching the sub. I'll prob rewatch the dub in it's entirety when it's finished.

 

Yeah I can link you to a website with 83 episodes out right now, and i'm watching battle of the gods right now again And yeah I will do the same I actually love dragonball z/ Super I'm abit of a nerd

 

I've watched DBS in both sub and dub, I must say sub far surpasses dub, almost doesn't seem right watching it in dub.

 

I had no idea they released a 2nd trailer, so thank you for posting that. I'm interested to see how strong they make Broly. In the 1st trailer they made him come off really strong so I wonder if we will see his development in strength throughout his childhood.
