Slayer Training Guide: Speeding up the one-way skill.

The fastest possible way to train slayer is to use lunars. some of you may know where I'm going with this.

Requirements:

67 Magic
250+ astral runes
250+ cosmics (equal to the amount of astrals)
an air staff
Lunar Diplomacy done.


What to wear:

Berserker/rune* full helm/black mask
fighter torso/rune* plate
dds/d long/d scimmy/whip
rune* legs/rune* skirt
climbing boots/rune* boots
rune defender/obby shield/rune berserker shield
recoil/berserker/wealth**
addy/rune/dragon/barrows gloves
obby cape/skill cape***


* or dragon
**because slayer monsters sometimes drop some good stuff (whips, dark bows, etc.)
***can be (t)


Okay, now get a slayer assignment, then do it. Once you're done, use NPC Contact in the Lunar Spellbook to contact your highest slayer master. Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

Burthourpe-ing tasks still works on NPC contact.

Starting with...


Tasks you should Burthourpe:

Metal Dragons
Dagganoths (they take food and are terrible XP)
Kurasks
Turoths
Mogres (Bad drops unles you have a thing for herb seeds, which are uncommon anway, slow XP)
Wall beasts (slow XP, SLOW respawn rate for the number of them there are)



For the actual killing, some people recommend Full Guthan's (never tried it, but I imagine it would be pretty good). This is helpful because of the set bonus when fighting higher level monsters but expensive.

Others recommend a cannon. This is good because it hits high-ish on multiple monsters. Just load, sit back, and watch the sparks fly.

If it gets too boring for you to stand, I recommend leaving sound effects so you know when you kll one and playing a handheld game or reading to pass the time. I realize this is off-topic but, hey, it's good advice. (personally, I play Final Fantasy Ring of Fates for DS)

If you have money to blow, you can use Ranged/Magic/Combat/Super Strength pots to hit higher, thus making the killing go faster.

FAQs

Q-If I'm using Lunar Magicks, won't it make it harder to get around to where my slayer monster is located?

A-Yes, that's right unless you have high enough magic to use the useful Lunar Teleports. I suggest using tele tabs, rings of duelling, games necklaces, glories, lunar teleports, etc. to get to where you need to go.

You should add using guthans,cannon,and also slayer tasks to do or skip (due to their effectiveness).
Because telling "Bring your best gear" is good idea, but you should add much more tips (like the lunar one).

I won't suggest metal dragons (slow..) or kursaks and Turoths becouse if you chosse to melee or range its preety slow because the weapons needed for them are preety weak..

That is incorrect. Under the lighthouse from "Horror of the Deep" quest has dagganoths that barely require any food, bones to peaches and guthans both work well. They are THE BEST SLAYER EXP IN THE GAME. If you cannon them, they are 60-70k EXP AN HOUR. Only a 10-20 minute task!

I would NEVER advise you to burth these. Even on a pure these are easy.
