Olympus Attempted Scam

Explanation of the trade: I was on discord voice with @Chiro and he told me that Olympus tried buying gold from him, 16b which is all of his gold. At first, he offered the rate of .58/m and when Chiro said that he has better rate offers, Olympus jumped his price up to .65/m. I messaged Olympus asking if he was selling gold, and he told me that he is selling 16b (which he doesn't even have yet) and offering it to me for .64/m. (Why would he buy 16b for .65/m and sell it to me "16b all at once" for .64/m?)

As with reports in the past like this, @Olympus has been given a TWC for trying to sell gold he doesn't own. You can apply for its removal in 30 days.

 

After further review I've lifted your TWC as you didn't do anything wrong in my opinion. @chiros is a mass extortionist/manipulator/scammer (svveetness/many other accounts), and to me it doesn't appear as if you were trying to scam in any form. You were trying to bargain the rate to a point where you could get a couple cent flip. I understand that it shows you offering to sell @ .64 and buy @ .65, but you continued to bargain with both parties, and you even mentioned to the extortionist that you were more than willing to use an MM of your choice for the trade if he wasn't willing to go first, which signifies that you weren't trying to scam anyone.
