    Your loss

My IP seems to be firewalled from here, I'm guessing becuase my browser (Maxthon) blocks the banner ads displayed. Now I understand that the site wants to make money, but I'd rather make a donation through Paypal or however, instead of having my browser cluttered with banners, popups, etc. I generally donate to every free forum that I frequent. That's the right thing to do.

I don't just get the "Your IP address was banned" message. Sythe.org has chosen to block my IP from even connecting to the website, resulting in a "Navigation cancelled" or 404 error. In other words, I didn't even get a warning or way of reporting it or dealing with it.

I managed to send in several requests anyway, all of which were ignored. I guess that the administrators are too busy watching porn or figuring out how to make another $5 as a middleman to bother with me.

No biggie. It's the forum's loss. I'm just glad that it happened before I donated anything. Of course, I'll continue to lurk here whenever I please. It will be a simple matter of hiding the IP behind a router or, if necessary, using one of four network proxies that I have access to and using a program that accepts the banners but hides them from view.

Perhaps in the future, when the forum is run by people with a maturity level higher than 12 years of age, I'll return. Until then, adios.

Such a shame to lose such an eccentric, irritating individual, obviously.
