Convenience

Something I've noticed a lot recently is this:





This is happening because of the non convenient rules placed in that forum. Let me explain.


The majority of Sythe users don't actually click on the stickies and read what they say. Most of the time, users simply scrolls up or down, and read what the topic says, like so:





This is convenient. After you read it you will automatically know the basic principle of that rule. If you want additional information, then you can click on the sticky to read on. Yes, I know some stickies say "BUYERS BEWARE - PLEASE READ" but that's because information like that is much longer and sometimes more important.


Now, in the middle man forum, there are two stickies.





In SMR's sticky, there's an additional rule.





As I suggested when Atomic was still around, this should be a separate sticky with a title such as:​

DO NOT REQUEST AN OFFICIAL MM HERE - YOU WILL BE INFRACTED

Problem fixed.


As for my major suggestion? Administrators, moderators, and to anyone who has power, please, do not cut corners when you make stickies that display rules. It may take very little additional time to post the new stickies, but I guarantee, it will make a difference (improvement).

Seems fair enough! And the threads requesting Officials only are usually locked quite quickly once they've been posted.

 

Why do you always type in that annoying font? It's centered and small >_>.
