they can call the bank and claim fraud, which could get your e transfers blocked and limited for future transactions

What happened to a friend was his account got flagged. Any payments sent to him was basically stuck in limbo and the sender had to call their bank to reverse it (it would never reach). I could be remembering it wrong, but it also negatively impacted what the sender could do until they rang their bank. Of course this happened after using it for selling gold for several months, probably received amounts in the 10s of thousands.

ya this basically negates the ability to sell gold via e transfer, because the chances of there being some sort of fraud are super high. If you did 500 transactions there is bound do be some "dirty money" in the mix. I went to my bank and they said its just under maintenance, I'm not convinced though

Yup, Myself and many others have been victim of receiving fraudulent money via e transfer. The money was sent to me through a hacked bank account. The owner of that bank account called the bank and they immediately froze my account. After about a month of investigation I lost whatever money I made but my account was finally unfrozen. I believe Runescape gold sellers are being targeted as it's easy to move Runescape gold. Always be cautious of e-transfers. I'd only use it with drastic measures such as ID verification.
