Has anyone used Player Auction?

Hey,

i'm just getting back into Runescape and i decided to buy a level 135 from Player auction from a guy with a good rep. 3 days later, account was locked. Pending dispute and waiting on my money back. Does anyone have any experience buying/selling on Player Auctions and whats your thoughts on the website?

They said they are disputing it but i sent a pic of the account literally locked and they haven't really said much else It's been about 3-4 days.

 

PlayerAuctions customer support isn't really the fastest, but since you bought insurance you should get your money back eventually. The guy probably tried to reccover or it was an automatic lock due to IP change.

 

I would say regarding the purchase of an account Player Auctions is a safer bet then on here overall. However if you pay careful attention, you'll notice some of the same reputable sellers on here are the same as on P/A.

You'll get your money back though. It's just a slow moving process. If you can try purchasing a new one from someone else.

 

accounts get locked usually because your froma different country, you bought gold, or you bot jsut because an account is locked doesen't mean someone tried recovering it which is a common misconception and generally playerauctions views an account being locked as the buyers burden with or without insurance.

i sell hundreds of accounts there have some experience with it.

generally you should try to get the seller to try and recover the account for you.

if they do recover it there will show a registered email when you try resetting password

2 things 1 the way email transers work on playerauctions is you fill out the acc info form then you register the email the buyer providers. after this THE BUYER has to log into there email then click a confirmation link withina time frame that runescape emails them

given what im reading the seller could have delivered the buyer didnt understand and then he got frustrated and didnt do his part atleast 3 times a week i spend atleast an hour trying to make someone understand that they have to go to there email and confirm email change.

now im not sure what he means by "info is wrong' if the username/password is incorrect then its a simple open and shut dispute but theres to much open to interpretation

 

sold a few accounts and a few hundred million osrs gp on there, not a bad place to start
