this game has blitzed all game's that included music
many people claim to be "the best" or have "godly" skills.
myself, im ok i guess, i can do expert though.
but i want to know how good everyone else is. it you would like,
post a video of you playing on youtube and put link on this thread.
please do not be a fraud either.

and once i've seen enough the country the person's from will be
the winning country for the week, i will hold one each two weeks.

Ehh guitar hero is lame no skill needed, I currently do not have my guitar hero controler (left it at my cousins ) and my youtube acc is being lame, but how about I play it take a pic and post it tomorow or w\e (will edit my post here) and to prove it's me I will put a paper that says "deadzone" at the bottom? would that work equally aswell? also does it have to be gh3? because I prefer gh2 but I can get gh3 from my cousin. ( I dominate at all of them.)

 

I don't have a camera, but I did beat hard on career mode. I have a wii, so if anyone wants to battle me online, just pm me.

I play on expert, and can play about half of the songs.

gh3 is easier by far due to the hammer-ons. and if you can beat Jordan on gh3 you should be able to play any song on gh3 with the exception of the last set possibly 2-3 bonus songs (including through the fire and flames)


To daily, you can't call it 5 stars on all if you can't get it by yourself on through the fire and flames, but you are good, I would say on most songs your a little bit better than me but we are close. and on Jordan you are no where close to getting 5 stars your about in the middle of 4 and 5 stars. which is a lot, If you can basically perfect the solo from where your vid started out and do good at the beginning up till the beginning of the solo and not mess up too awful bad on the beginning of the solo you will be able to do it. I suggest you play a song like that fdkremix or w\e (bonus song from fall of troy) on a higher hyper speed on gh3 to practice your speed of going back and forth on the fret board beings you slide too slow (mind you it sounded like it wasn't off by much).

As for your through the fire and flames I believe as do a lot of people on your comments page believe its fake: reasons why.
1. like a few people pointed out the total notes and your avg multiplier don't add up.
2. If it's your friend doing the beginning hammer-ons may be possible but no chance you could do it if you can't even slide Jordan's easy part of the solo etc. (at least at that time I don't know about now as the vids are somewhat old)
3. at the beginning who ever was doing the hammer-on part wasn't keeping there multiplier up enough to keep in the green and at one point really messed up and miss strummed a couple times which should have put you in the low red or possibly failed you but you did not move from the middle of the yellow. so I find it fake.

I leave you all to look at them and voice you opinions But that is my opinion.

Apperenty, Guitar "Villain" (yes, this is the fourth game in the Guitar Hero series. They changed hero to villain because they didn't want the game to look corny as "Guitar Hero IV") is going to have a drum set, and the ability to create your own songs. Sounds tedious as hell.​

 

That sounds gay, it is called GUITAR HERO for a reason, not to add freaking drums, we have rockband for that.. that's bullshit.. They better have some good songs!! xD

 

Deadzone,why do you say no skill? I think it takes some skill. I couldn't 5-star expert when I first played, heck, I still can't. I'd say it takes some skill.

 

There next in the series is aerosmith, and after that it is guitar hero 4 , gods of shred, and will mostly be comprised of metal songs and guitarists known for there speed and precision.

I am sorry but I find button mashing not a skillful talent, and guitar hero is a sad pathetic attempt at a guitar game, although may be fun to play They should not call it "guitar hero"

 

it does sound good does'nt it, it's bad that the first three didn't have the best song's that could of been on there eg. Metallica and children of bodom, both having good guitar rifts.

Guitar Hero Takes Alot More Skill To Play, Than Runescape Does..

 

i agree with sunchef, guitar hero does take skill, eg to memorize the different colour's, be precise with finger placing and timing.

It must not take as much skill as it does to learn a little grammar eh? Also why in the world would you even compare them to runescape. Did I compare them to runescape? no, did anyone else? no. So why did you? what I was referring to by no skill is they tried to duplicate a guitar, it is nothing like a guitar, not even 1\1000th of the skill a guitar takes to learn, You play guitar hero 1 day and you can be on hard maybe expert, you play a guitar 1 day you might be able to do power chords. big difference.

Take for example the "solo" tapping part of the song "one" by metallica (where it does the red yellow and blue fast then goes to yellow blue and orange etc. that is easy compared to the actual song, (if you doubt me go to my sig and go to "my guitar skills" and look at the vid of me doing the tapping for the song. It is done exactly right except I use a different tapping method than kirk does.

You don't have to be precise , unless on precision mode. Which I doubt many people play. and put it this way.

5 colors: green, red , yellow, blue, orange
thats 5 buttons left to right nothing more.

a real average guitar.

6 strings 22-24 frets per string
would be 132-144 frets total or "buttons if you will. and most songs the next "button" or fret on a real guitar isn't right next to the one you played.

there is a big difference.

This is just ignorant, Go pick up and learn a real instrument before you dare try to insult me on what takes more skill than guitar hero.
