Temporary Robotzindisguise Thread

SQL injection is not possible, the bot and website are secured against SQL injection, and have been for a very long time.

76 people used the bot yesterday so you are able to put it into perspective, there were about 5 bans, and it seems like most had either used 3.00 (and because Jagex's recent packet sniffing could have been identified back then) or were identified previously with V2. I think there could potentially be a risk to people who aren't in that category although we are yet to see any bans given outside those criteria. We keep people up to date via the news system on the bot. If you are suggesting you know better than us, whether there is a new threat, and that you know exactly what it is, within 20 hours of the first ban - I should probably remind you, that you don't work for Jagex.

The most likely explanation is they've been spying on IP addresses in some way, shape or form - the next logical step from the packet sniffing attacks we were able to negate last week. We'll know more about it within a couple of days, in the meantime if you want to reduce the risk, play RuneScape via proxy because if they are matching IP's of people logged into their servers with the IP source/destination in the packets they're intercepting, this would negate that risk. While they cannot extract the username (or any other) data from these packets anymore, they can still obtain source and destination IPs. This wouldn't be too difficult to negate, and just incase that's what they're doing I'm already preparing several layers of security, and new advice to give to our members about ensuring your privacy online.

 

Well I hate to act like I know everything, which I dont, but I have a suggestion Robotz..

I was watching the bot yesterday (just bought it) and when in the enchantment chamber and it picks up the things (new to this whole mage arena thing) it barely has any randomess at all.

I could be wrong but clicking the mouse 10 times in a row in the EXACT same pixel as the time before results in an automatic ban.

But I could be wrong because I dont know if the mouse moves a few pixels when clicking or not.

But if it doesnt then my suggestion is to add randomess to the clicking + waiting time before clicking again.

-- edit, and to all you people who keep getting banned and complaining to robotz, no offence but you need to shut up. It is YOUR fault you are banned because YOU took the risk of running a bot. I hate bitching but its kind of true and it pisses me off every time I see some noob bothering robotz for a refund because you didnt auto correctly and overused the bot. Thats my 2 cents worth.

Hey, don't worry smoke. I can't go into the exact details but the bread and butter stuff like delays and clicks is water-tight, even the mouse movements. Whatever happened yesteday it was not an automated system, the bans from last week was not an automated system, and even the bans that did not happen until very late on with V2 now seem like they probably weren't from an automated system, given we, as good as confirmed Jagex were hacking our users by intercepting their communications with the RID server, when the day we started encrypting all communication, bans stopped. What happened yesterday could have just been the knock on effect from that, with Jagex having kept records of a few people identified back then or with V2.
Today 43 people have used the bot, and there's been no bans, then again it could just be that J-Mods have Sundays off. We'll see what happens this week.

Note that just because I'm suggesting these bans were handed out manually, does not necessarily mean they are logging on to the game to identify people. There has not been any record of a J-Mod talking to a bot since version 3.00.

 

robotz im having troubles just trying to run my bot lol. Im trying to do alching minigame and when i have everything set up and i click run, the bot keeps the mouse in the same position without moving it and i have java on realtime, 2nd darkest and low details

 

Robotz, might be a dumb question to ask, but did Jagex get everyones RID username? Or just some peoples?

 

robotz, i have been banned 3 times for using this on my pure, the bans were .5, 5.0 and a .5 with version 3.01 i beleive, now i am wondering is it still safe for me to use this, or should i just quit since jagex basically caught on to me, if i have to quit i will just transfer the hours to another account, but its just that the account i was using it on is a pure, and i really wanted to get 99 mage on it.

 

.5 blackmarks are only issued if you bot for too long. Which shouldn't really be a problem. Just take those 10 days off and maybe a week of no mage training arena and you'll probably be safe

 

Hey, i used rid when there was a problem with the enchant arena and somehow i got 0.5 blackmarks even though i was unable to auto and was on for less than 2 hours.

Now i have my account back and the bug is fixed, i was wondering if its ok to use rid now and should i use a proxy like robotz was talking about?

If i should use a proxy i have two (noobie) questions,
1.What is a proxy?
2.Where can i get one =P ?

OK ty for response, i went to proxy.org and erm...thousands of them to choose from, is there a specific one i need to use (saw that there were catorgries for countrys, im in UK but theres still a few hundred to choose from) and i tryed that enter a url thing first and second try it took me to some weird sites but now its taken me to runescape, should i just use the third attempt one that came up as runescape?

And another question,

Do proxies just hide your ip or something and if so cant jagex still ban your account even without knowing your ip or whatever the proxy hides?

Baser, send try removing the toolbar if you're using Firefox and if that doesn't help send customer support a screenshot of your character logged into RS and they'll be able to fix it.

My auto-talker does not work! My friend came and tested it, and he does not reply back. Can anyone help with this, Alex.

 

I dont know if this is happening to anyone else, but telekinetic room is still extremely buggy.

Mine goes into all 3 other rooms, then exits, then goes in a 2nd time, then goes out and into the telekinetic room and do 1 maze, exit the room, go back in and stand in 1 spot, and keeps on tele grabbing the statue.

jagex only work WEEKDAYS around 9-5 uk gmt +0 time
