personally i really like the way things will work with stardust/friends. it will still not be easy to fill your pokedex because good trades will require alot of dust, but you can get a few pokemon which you have always wanted which is nice

 

real interesting, also the friend gifting pokestop sounds really sweet if you play with a duo. i'll be looking forward for trading so I can trade pokemon between my spoofed alts.

Yeah its out i really like the friends gifting and friendship levels. I often get 10 pinaps in a single present

Sending gifts to friends has definitely been a great feature. I still haven't traded anyone yet though.
