meh more oldies, good song for its time but come on ladies we are in the 2000+'s there are better songs.

Name one song made in the 2000+'s that is better than highway to hell. In my opinion one hasn't been released thus far.

 

I am tempted to agree with this man.

 

hmm ... well high way to hell.. basically the same lyrics over and over. nothing too skillfull insturmentally in the song. so we got the basics of any rap song. which come on now we all know rap is at the bottom of the food chain sitting with emo and screamo music. on the skill required.

So now.. by a better song in the 2000+'s depends on your opinion of the type of music you like,keep in mind that they may be from the late 90's because I am not going to look up the release date of every single song. but to name a few.

edgewater - one perfect something
revelation thoery - selfish and cold
anata - drain of blood
black label society - stillborn
anything by children of bodom
anything from the best of yngwie malmsteen (although that is technically almost all from the 90's and late 80's)
smile empty soul - bottom of a bottle
smile empty soul - adjustments
and hell anything else by s.e.s.
shinedown - begin again
anything by soil
bad astronaut - minus
fuel - sunburn


tried to get a little bit of everything would get some rock & roll but to be honest there is no such thing as good rock & roll now what you ladies gotta understand is its quality not quantity a song being around for ages don't make it good. you gotta go by insturmental talent, and lyric talent which are both lacking, not that ac\dc wasn't a decent band it's just the song itself isn't that great. The thing I don't get about most kids is that they think oh well I am going to like a really old successful band because that makes me cool. when infact it makes you ignorant.

Every time you ask someone what there favorite artisit is, they usually say AC/DC.

And if you ask why, they will probablly say because classic rock is good.
Which is true in my opinion. But to many people know nothing about old bands, and just say thye like them to be good in other peoples books.

Or because thats all they like.
Just remember to be open-minded about new music. New is good, and jsut as good as old.

I completely understand where your coming from and I pretty much totally agree. I like some older songs I grew up listening to older stuff but come on the songs were ok and yeah there were a bunch of really good songs that deserve to be known as "great" songs still today. but in my eyes this just isn't one of them.

 

It will always be a great song haha

 

its an awesome song, there arent alot of ac/dc songs that i dont like, i really like thunderstruck as well
