Explanation of the trade: I was selling OSRS GP for BTC.


How they scammed: Once their mule recieved the gold he removed me from friends list AFTER telling me he was a ban evader. I'm also convinced the Discord ID was changed after our conversation to make it seem like an imposter scam. I verified several times via Sythe.


Proof that it's their Skype:
Here is the first one confirming on Sythe that we are in fact messaging on Discord. This was sent by Eren and you can clearly see the username in the top right corner of the Sythe website. In the end he says he was an imposter and he was Flathom, BUT if you look at his bookmarks it shows donor dicing(something that ONLY donors can do and something Eren does), questing(another service offered by Eren), Middleman(ANOTHER service offered by Eren), Account Shop(Yet another service offered by Eren), and then vouches something that an imposter wouldn't have.

This screenshot is from when Eren was going to MM the sale from myself to Flathom(he is now banned) Again, you can clearly see this picture is taken from Eren's side of sythe. FURTHER confirming that it is indeed Eren.





This is Eren telling me about how he is looking for questers to join his/her team while being VERY specific. Something an imposter wouldn't be able to do.






I find it VERY weird that he would say, "U got impostered." I have been scammed MANY times before and NONE of the times have they said that. I truly believe that Eren set it up to look like an imposter scam, but this was definitely not one at all. The confirmations and information provided was too precise to be faked. This was done by a large donor that took advantage of being trusted and then tried to play it off like it was a scam.

Please see that this is clearly someone faking an imposter scam and take the right course of action here.

 

Sorry for your loss my friend. @TexasSythe1212 I'll probably get infracted for this since it does not pertain to me but i can also confirm that is in fact Eren. I had a chat with him today about buying his Miniranks but declined to purchase them.

Thank you very much for confirming, Klepto. I sincerely appreciate it as this was my WHOLE cash stack. The blatant disrespect at the end by saying, “go for it, I could care less,” truly shows that he either thinks his fake impersonator scheme is REALLY good or that his donor status puts him above everyone else. I hope he hasn’t done this to many other members.

 

this was the last conversation i had with this user, i talked to him about buying his gold, then he was interested in questing/skilling for me and the convo ended there he instantly removed me from his contacts, i dont know what hes trying to do but i feel like he got impostered or is trying to frame me.

I'm willing to do anything for the staff team of sythe in the matter. The user was being extremely sketchy and was asking me for multiple pms...

initially i was supposed to middleman between him and another user "flathom" but the user was banned instantly..

AGAIN, you're trying to fake an imposter scam when it clearly, clearly isn't one.

this was the user i was talking to.. i guess i didnt notice the "#9107" lol..

 

I'm confused though because you said you contacted me but I was only contacted by one "TexasSythe1212#9107" and your tag is "TexasSythe1212#9017", if you stated you added me, and talked to me as you did on "Eren#0499" why didnt we share a convo? If was impostered and you were impostered where was the contact as you posted on my middleman thread when i asked you two to post on it?

You were not scammed. Anyone can pull up another profile whilst in a conversation with another user. For example, you pulled up our conversation with an imposter discord ID overlaid.



Here in OUR conversation, you confirm the gold trade saying, "This is me." "2nd screen me" Then I say done.

Also, when you ask me to join your team notice how you said, "You wanna pay a deposit too now?" The important part here is the word, "too," because it gives context to ANYONE reading the conversation that you have received gold and want additional gold on top of the gold I've ALREADY given you. The smoking gun here is the last part. Here, you can see you asking for EVEN MORE gold and saying, "No point of doing 2," MEANING that ONE WAS DONE If no trade happened then you wouldn't have been able to ask for a second and say it was unnecessary to do two. So, there was no imposter scam. The only scam was you stealing my money.

You're messaging me again on Discord at the moment, and I'd appreciate if you didn't because I want the mods to figure this one out. Clearly, you've scammed and should be dealt with accordingly. I have nothing more to privately say to you.

 

how can you say thats me when i literally just pm'd you on discord and we had no chat history, you stated on my middleman thread you contacted "Eren#0499", I JUST MESSAGED YOU OUR FIRST CONVERSATION EVER. You're saying thats me...

 

You just proved that you are guilty by forgetting your own lies. You already showed screenshots of our saying that this is what we spoke about and then I blocked you. Now you’re saying we never spoke. You should be DNTed before you scam anyone else. I’m done speaking with you. I am MORE than happy to do anything that ANY staff member of Sythe asks of me, but I am done conversing with a scammer.

 

I've heard you've dealt with these, this guy is so focused on his logic so I'd rather you explain and help me deal with this @Champ. (I was told to contact you.)

 

This isn't the place for you to post, me and this user both messed up, he contacted the wrong Eren, I was speaking to the imposter. Unfortunately, this user was imposter scammed and I wasn't.

 

The evidence here shows that I was fake imposter scammed that’s why your head is hurting. It’s an awful situation that shouldn’t have happened. Hopefully will be resolved soon.

This is what Eren is talking about. It’s actually against the rules, bud.

 

I sold my minis in the light of me getting banned because no I will not refund you. I didn't scam you I have no reason to. If I'm held accountable for verifying a PM and you're not held accountable for the fact that you never contacted me as you stated on my middleman thread than that's completely unfair.

 

*Note I've been trying to sell my minis prior to this anyways they're pointless.

And what about the confirmation PMs? Or our discord conversations matching up perfect? You sad you were speaking with an imposter yet the conversation you posted of the imposter line up perfectly with the conversation you and I had. I can show pictures of the conversation that line up with the yours where you show a fake imposter account. So, nothing is unfair when you scam and claim I’m brain dead for getting imposter scammed and say you won’t pay me back.
