    The most detailed FIRE CAPE Guide you'll ever come across.

    Fire Cape, the reward you get for spending up to 2 hours straight in Thzarr Fight Caves, offers +11 to all defensive stats, +2 Prayer, +4 Strength, and +1to all other offensive stats. It is the only cape to have a strength bonus (trimmed skillcapes do NOT have strength bonus, only prayer)

    Requirements:
    70+ Range
    70+ Defence (You can do at 40, but will be a lot harder)
    43+ Prayer

    The "perfect" inventory

    Don't use sweets if you don't mess up that much. Personally all the food I end up using adds up to 2 brews, nothing more.
    Only unique thing about sweets is they are the ONLY stackable food, healing 1 - 3 hp each and 10% energy each piece.

    Equipment

    If not 70 defence wear the best armor you can.
    And the bolts, you will need no more than 1,000. If you're range is low you will use about 700, if your range is mid-range, you will use about 500 - 600, and if you have 90+ range expect to use less than 400 of them.

    Monsters and general information
    Information about each monster and additonal facts

    Trapping monsters:
    You can trap the lvl180s and lvl45s with the following spots:

    The Safespot:
    ALWAYS run back to this spot after every wave of monsters.

    The lvl22 Bat
    [​IMG]
    At all costs do NOT let this thing touch you! You will lose a prayer point everytime it hits you. Plus, for every additonal damage it deals you you lose an EXTRA prayer point per damage it deals.
    For example, it hits you 5. You will lose 6 prayer points just from that hit!
    If it gets close to you, run back 10 - 20 steps, range it, and repeat. They only have 10hp so shouldn't be that hard. Most of the time you will 1-hit them.

    The lvl45 Chubby Dude

    This guy isn't such a big threat, only has 20hp, but Trap it with the italy rock (as in picture) if possible. Once every so often it will hit you 7's, so overtime in later waves against the 360s it might become bothersome.
    After you kill it it will split into 2 smaller lvl22 versions. Those hit occasional 4s- dispose of them.

    The lvl90 Xil- Rangers

    These aren't that big of a threat, but will become a main threat when they are mixed up with higher levels. More will be explained later on, and of course, they range and deal up to 13s. If you get close enough they will inflict melee based punches.

    The lvl180s

    These hit up to 25 and hit HARD. Trap them as soon as possible.
    After they're trapped successfully they are no longer any threat.
    Also if you are in its melee range it will heal the other monsters! So beware.

    Oh yeah,- If they spawn west and melee you, MELEE PRAY and trap them with the italy rock.

    The lvl360

    Whenever you know one is still around and not stuck, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, keep mage prayer on and when fighting them, NEVER get close to its melee range! It can hit over 50. The only time you should let mage pray down is if you just killed it and are fighting something else, or if it is stuck behind something and you are beyond its reach.

    The waves, general descriptions
    Wave 1-8: Lvl22 and 45.
    Kill the bats first, and trap the 45s and dispose of them. Nothing much here.

    Wave 9 - 15: Lvl90 rangers approach
    In no matter what situation, remember, kill the bats first and don't let them touch you. Range prayer whenever a 90 is around- their range attacks hit 13. You could not pray at all but waste a lot of food here.

    Wave 16 - 21: lvl180s
    ALWAYS trap these and dispose of them afterwards. Melee pray if they happen to get to you somehow, but remember- kill the bats first!
    Refer to the lvl180 monster description to how to trap them.

    Wave 22 - 30: lvl180 + 90
    Now it gets a little interesting. Get the 180 trapped and then range prayer when killing off the 90s. If you get a bad spawn- where everything spawns west, trap the 180 while melee praying running around the Italy Rock and then range prayer while disposing of the 90.
    On the final wave at the 2 lvl180s, as the final 180 dies mage pray while running to your safespot.

    Wave 31 - 38: the 360s approach
    Mage prayer is ALWAYS on regardless, unless you know that the 360 is gone and you're fighting something else. After EVERY wave, as the monster dies, mage prayer and run to the safespot!


    Wave 39 - 46: 360s + 90
    Now this is when it begins to get hard and intense.
    Mage prayer always on, and here on staying at your safespot after every wave becomes critical. Dispose of the lvl90 as quick as possible and then finish off the 360.
    In some cases the 360 or 90 will get stuck at one end while the other one attacks you. Switch prayers accordingly, but be prepared to mage pray suddenly if the 360 happens to hit you somehow.

    Wave 47 - 55: 360+180s
    Mage prayer on always. Here there is a change- when trapping 180s keep that mage prayer on! Eat up when you get hit while trapping, killing bats first always.. Trap the 180s and then kill off the 360 and kill off the rest.

    Wave 56 - 63: 360+180+90
    Hardest waves of all. Kill Bats > Trap 180 > Kill the lvl90 > Kill lvl 360 > dispose of rest.
    Use the lvl180 trapping techiques to help you out!
    If you get bad spawns, run and lure things to other rock formations in the cave:

    Last wave: 360 360
    Be prepared. Take a deep breath, pot up brews past your max. HP and sip your restores to full prayer.
    QUICKLY (you have 1 second) turn range prayer on and RUN TO SAFESPOT as the final 360 dies.

    As you're waiting at your safespot with sound turned onto full blast, note that 7/10 of the time he will spawn west..
    Range attack: Sounds like a bang.
    Mage attack: Sounds like Boxes falling off a shelf. Mage pray, as soon as it hits you a 0 immeadiately turn back to range prayer until you can actually see Jad.

    When he slams his legs you have a SPLIT SECOND to range pray.

    When he raises his legs and lets them dangle, you hear the boxes falling down, you have about 1 second to mage pray.

    Alright, when you get him to Half hp the Healers will arrive.

    Attack one at a time until you get all 4 of them, paying close attention to Jad's attacks. DON'T GET DISTRACTED!
    Walk around slightly to get all 4 ATTACKING you.

    Now align yourself to Jad, so your character is facing exactly towards his head. Once his next attack hits a 0 on you melee pray, cursor ready to mage/range pray, RUNNING THROUGH Jad. Switch prayers accordingly! If he melees you the melee prayer will save you.

    Now finish off jad, switching prayer accordingly. Brew and restore up if you need to.




    Once he is dead, horray, you got your fire cape =] and 8032 tokkul.

    10 out of 10! But you should also explain about the 'Italian Boot'.

    and also. Pures can get fire capes too.. you don't need 40 def+.

    use xbow etc and wear monk/dhide

    good job, i definately wouldnt bother making one lol sweets definately arnt needed at 70+ def though and i only use 500-600 bolts per. zammy book speeds it up a bit too as the prayer gives you more eagle eye =p

    also, you should include the safe spots for sulfur vent and skeleton, its key for getting the healers stuck and helps pures for chubby things, also stops the 180 from getting you even though everyone considers tip of boot spot useless.


    please whatever you do, DO NOT include how to make jad spawn south of italy, it would lose me and whoever else knows it a lot of business

    Yeah, I only use about 1 1/2 brews and no sweets throughout the whole cave.
    It's mainly for the inexperinced.
