[DENIED] Disallow price ranging in the market

Support, I've had so much of my time wasted by traders who have misleading titles or just straight up lies about prices they're willing to sell at. It should be up to sellers to keep prices updated and not waste countless customers time with prices they don't intend to use.

 

While I don't support complete removal, I do support a $0.05 range, which is reasonable. Would fix the problem with people abusing a 10+ cent range.

no support as it’s a pain in the ass updating threads everytime gold changes and then having nazi reporters reporting for “false advertising”. Anyone with above 50iq should know to PM the OP for current rates.

 

My thought would be require the sites to lay out relative quantities a user would have to buy to get these particular prices. Far to often you go and ask and the answer is some ridiculous amount that only a small small fraction of buyers would qualify for. Just being honest too cry me a river about how much of a pain it would be to change the prices as fluctuations occur. If users say well i have 15 threads that's your choice and if its to much maybe you should focus on the areas that make you the most profit and excel in them.

 

I'd love to see this implemented to some extent but nothing too harsh as it would definitely be too hard for bigger gold sellers to update this as their prices and stock can change minute to minute. I am residing with something similar to what Pendulum suggested.

 

Allowing price ranges lets thread owners set prices in their titles and not have to worry about getting infracted if their price changes and they're not online to update the thread. It's more beneficial to customers to have at least some expectation of a price before they click a thread rather than seeing a slew of identical looking threads and no sense of price.

For what it's worth, there is already an expectation that any price ranges would be reasonable so if you see someone who has an unreasonably wide price range feel free to report that

 

I understand what you are saying but for a big website to make money of rsg it has to be consistent.
If the price fluctuate too much less people will be buying also people like to see thing in the same way everyday , so if the price stays the same more people will be attracted.

This suggestion has been denied.

If you see someone with such a wide margin that is ridiculous, feel free to report it and we will look into it.

To add onto the confusion, margins and prices are based on what your payment method is. Some sellers may say .60-.85 for example, and depending on which method you are paying you will fall somewhere in those margins. I hope this helps clear up some of the confusion!
