Jagex messaged me on MSN?

Well, someone oddly added me on MSN today....

The guy told me to stop real world trading, or he would IP ban me. He did not ask me for a username or password, and says he visits sythe regularly.

I have heard that you can use some sort of trick to have your MSN end in @whateveryouwant.com, is there any way I can really tell if this person works at jagex?

He just simply told me not to RWT, and that there are consequences. Nothing else. No password, no other information. He said he does not have access to my account information, and he said he had to go before he did, he did not block me or anything.

And yes, his email is [email protected]. I always set my MSN to "display by e-mail adress"

Im not one to get fooled by imposters looking for my password etc. But is this guy real?

 

you can register a microsoft passport thing like that easily. meaning an email address of any domain name.

theres a way you can tell, if he is talking to you over msn then its not from jagex, der....

if it was jagex you would already be banned, and they wouldnt use msn, and they never give out warnings.
