Its not hard to explain its impossible, besides saying "dead".

I agree it must be like sleeping but different. Its something that we won't have an awnser to, well probably not.

For all I know there could be a man standing behind me with a gun, boom, I die instantly without feeling any pain, and I'm gone. I won't care because I can't care because I'm gone. Any other conclusion can't be substantially proven.

What's your opinion on when you die?

When you die, i believe everything turns black. you have no memory, no nothing. Kind of like when your sleeping without dreams though. Its basically nothing and you don't know whats happening. Time will pass very fastly though, like when your sleeping. Or another example is when your a baby. Its like your not a person or having nothing to it. When you die, everything is gone for you, and if you do believe in reincarnation, you dont remember anything about your past life because your a new person, with a new brain and mind. Thats what i believe

Yeah, actually it's scientifically proven you won't know even once you die. Your brain and heart stop functioning, so there is no way for you to be able to think. If you can't think, then you can't process data. If you can't process data, then you won't know that you're dead.

I don't know I believe in ghosts in all but with the belief in ghosts you run into a dead end, why is it these old abandoned creepy looking places seem to be the ones haunted? People die everyday yet these seem to be the ghosts of people who died 100years+ ago. I don't know and honestly we are a form of life just like an ant is a form of life. Now do ya honestly think when you step on that little piece of shit ant it goes to ant heaven or something. I certainly don't. So when we die its probly like before we were born. Im scared of death, but its not like im going to care once im dead if that is the way it is.

I hope there is more to life after death. But if there is then what the hell is the point of living in "human form" in the first place? Im not really a god believer but the belief of god, heaven and hell, and all that has been going on for so long maybe there is actually something to it. Anyway I don't mean to change subjects.

What's your opinion on when you die?

When you die, you either go to heaven or hell. Since I believe there is a heaven that is the place were I would like to go. :D

What's your opinion on when you die?

Find me empirical evidence that there has to be a place where you go. From what I've seen, dead bodies usually rot in the ground or in a tomb/mausoleum.

Funny how people relate death with black. I relate death with nothing.

And find me evidence that there isn't something beyond death. This argument goes both ways and can be hard to prove beyond belief. What it comes down to is how much the person believes in life after death, but it is hard to prove there is nothing after death.

Nobody can be FOR SURE what happens, but we can try to prove the other party wrong.

As I think I have stated, i believe that we are NOT reincarnated nor do we just rot. I think that our unique "soul/personality" will never be used again, but we just take on the life of another being (human or not) with no recollection of our previous life/lives. (Kind of reincarnation, but no traits are carried over.)

The whole thing with reincarnation, whatever way you want to believe it, is where are the "rouge" souls coming from? Lifeforms seem to be growing in numbers...

What's your opinion on when you die?

Well you point out the one flaw in reincarnation. Reincarnation says that the souls of a dead being will be placed into another being, newly born. But, the population boom is starting to prove that either there is life beyond our Earth (don't argue with this, just hypothetical) or that every time a baby is born, a new soul is born. Which, in turn, would cancel reincarnation.

What's your opinion on when you die?

When you die, your mind ceases to exist. No memories, no emotions, no thought process, no nothing.

    It's the most logical conclusion.

But where do you get off saying what is "logical?" What is logical to you, may not be to an Evangelical. So nothing is the "logical" conclusion to this, there is only how hard a person is willing to fight for their belief.

What's your opinion on when you die?

Do you even know what logic means? To use logic means to take the simpliest explanation over the most ludicrious ones. If you receive a letter in your mailbox, should we assume that God put it there, or the mailman did? The most logical answer is the latter.

    It's pretty easy:
    - We evolved from a cell into apes. We consist primarily of carbon-based chemicals, quarks and gluons.
    - Cells undeniably die. Do cells goto Heaven/Hell? What about other animals?
    - The idea of Heaven/Hell comes from a document that repeatedly contradicts itself, todays advanced scientific theories, and historically documented facts.

Does the Bible hold credibility, when it has hundreds of historical inaccuracies, self-contradictions and goes against our wonderful science? No. If the Bible holds no credibility, the Christian version of the afterlife holds no credibility and most likely isn't correct. Then what is the most logical answer, if it can't be Heaven/Hell? Nothing! And that's exactly what happens to you once you're officially dead: nothing.

What's your opinion on when you die?

Ok, so you think that the religious explanations are ludicrous? Well they think that the scientific explanations are ludicrous. You are contradicting yourself because logic is using knowledge given to come up with a reasonable, and fair solution in the eyes of the beholder. Also, we know God didn't put the mail in the mailbox, that is the most TERRIBLE example so far.

    Now, onto your "scientific proof":

Do you know what quarks and gluons are? They do not MAKE us. They help stick together the cells that make us.

Secondly, how do you know cells do not go to heaven/hell. I'm not saying they do, but there is no undeniable proof that you can provide.

What you have given just states that we are a carbon-based being and that we die. There is no proof in here that nothing happens. Quarks and Gluons? Please, they BARELY make up an entire cell.
