What to do with an icloud locked ipad/mac

My grandpa never used icloud, it was registered for him some time ago, but he has totally forgotten his password, he has no proof of purchase, are there any legit services available to help? PM

 

Recover it using the email or by contacting Apple if you don’t know how it works. Any online services are scams

 

I've seen services out there that can unlock icloud but it's rather sketchy...
Not sure if they actually work or not.

 

I used to work with Iphones quite a bit shipping them overseas. You can't bypass the Icloud activation lock no matter what anyone says.

If you want to actually use the phone you will need the original e-mail information, and if you contact Apple they will likely require a proof of purchase.

Apple employed this Icloud lock to stop wholesalers from buying and selling Iphones. When they would get Icloud locked phones, they were forced to be sold for parts and customers would have to purchase new.

While you may not be able to bypass the Icloud locks, you can still sell the Apple products for parts... which are worth more than you might think.

You can get 60-70% of what the product would be worth fully functioning in used condition.

 

Hey, I' m not sure but isn't the icloud on iphone APPLE? Soo... The password for icloud is your same APPLE password? or can he saying that he can't recover that password either.

 

OP needs to get the Iphone working, without any of the Icloud login information, which Apple makes it impossible to do
