Hey, everyone who got banned.

Did anyone have enchant dragonstones on?

I'm guessing since Jagex probably read this thread, they realised that they could just ban everyone who played the mta, and then went to enchant and kept clicking vulnerability.

I tested enchanting and it happened to me too but I always just turned the bot off and enchanted the stones myself so maybe they overlooked me.

I really hope for everyone else's sake this is the case because otherwise robotz so-called "real" mouse movements have failed drastically.

Read the above quote. Im sure your theory is a possibility. Although it is highly unlikely that the "real" mouse movements failed in that aspect. It could be a combo of the clicking on d-stones as well as the autotalker..or maybe they are going by people who have previously used the MTA and have been absent from that for the past month (?). That is why im telling people to go to the MTA when the bot is not out for things like this and Im sure a majority of the MTA bot users did not go there on there own time. Jagex is not dumb and now that RWT is gone, they can use more resources for botbusting. You have to think about the little things, RID can only do so much. He can program and make the program the best in the world. But we as consumers/users have to be responsible and think smart about how to outthink/outplay Jagex.

 

For eveyone who complains about the bot, just dont use it, and stay off of this thread, its as easy as that, and if you follow those steps and get lucky santa will not give you any black marks, and youll maybe even get an xbox360 for christmas.

 

What I've been able to gather so far about bans, the first day there were no bans but several J-Mod sightings and cases of J-Mods speaking to bots, in one case J-Mods spoke to the same guy on 3 separate occasions in the two days V3 has been out. It seems they were targeting people with history of using V2, or people who were spending a suspicious amount of time in there (like 8+ hours a day) or in some cases may have just been world hopping at random.
It's possible they've been able to get information from snapshots that they could use to help identify others using the program. It seems like those who spent an inhuman number of hours at the MTA have received 10 black marks, and the others who were caught, 5 black mark bans.

I was intentionally using a lot in the run up to releasing V3, without incident so whatever it is they caught onto is a new development after some kind of study or observation. What I've done so far is update a few potential weaknesses in the program, and made some small adjustments that will make a big difference. If my theory is right it should be much safer after this update. I will also not further delay putting the monitering system in to warn if you're spending a suspicious amount of time using it.

J-Mods have been specifically targetting the bot, I'm not sure how long they'll keep it up, but I believe the risk of this kind of attack can be brought to an absolute minimum with the right updates, and using responsibly of course. Remember the current climate is not as steady as say a month or two ago where you could get away with 12+ hours a day with maximum risk half a black mark, but when 3.01 is released I think it certainly will be safe to use 2-4 hours a day quite comfortably and more as long as you don't do it too much. We'll have a clearer idea with the hour monitering system in place.

If you want to keep the chance of being caught to zero percent, don't use any bots, if you want to play the percentages maybe wait a while and see what further action Jagex may take, I know a few of you are already doing this. When the climate settles down is the best time to bot, although I will be botting a lot with 3.01 and believe it will swing the percentages back in our favor. There is no reward without risk and people have been complaining here that they lost their high level mage accounts with loads of money, maybe you wouldn't have that much money or high a magic if you'd never used the bot before, so you should understand there is risk involved but also reward. I cannot stop Jagex taking action inside RuneScape and attempting to catch people out altogether, but I can help swing the percentages back in our favor.

 

Quoted for truth. You should not complain, as robotz stated, about getting banned when you knew buying the mta was against Jagex' rules. Robotz, I personally think you should limit everyone's bot to 6 or 7 hours MAX within a 24 hour period. Who cares if people complain that "oh we paid for it we should use it when we want". The ones who say that are the ones who abuse it the most, like fag boy up there who played RS for hours and hours THEN botted for hours upon hours. If they don't like it, they can just not use it. In the long run, limiting usage will will make the bot safer for it's users.

 

Exactley as i said above. You can only do so much when programming, and it is up to us as botters/consumers to bot responsible and just be careful.

EDIT: I just read Hm0ng's idea. And i like it. THose idiots are the ones getting caught and then complaing about it. So i think that a 6 hour limit within 24 hour period would be awesome. That way, even though I try, dont over use it. ( I use it on/off when im home.)

Besides, you made the bot and are allowing us to use it. And if they dont like YOUR rules for YOUR bot then they can GTFO.

 

That's why i have not used the bot yet, im sure it works 100% but the reason im not using it yet is because

1. using something thats JUST been released after getting a 10day ban there already is idiotic.
2. i have no need to rush into it.

Many of the people just ran head first into the arena again to bot up, some probably abused it, while others just ran it for 2 hours, but didn't matter they knew what was going to go down and were prepared and caught a lot of you out.

But im going to sit back, and relax, even if my hours go to waste, i don't care, id rather wait and see how it goes before i start botting back up again.

and thanks for all the work your putting into the bot robot's im sure you will get it up to working order again where there is only a slim chance to be caught if your a sensible botter.

 

Hello robot'z, alot of people who have been banned have been using Enchant and Telekenetic. These 2 activity's I found were not as high standard as the others. In the enchant the bot tend's to not realise the inventory is full and may keep clicking to try get more objects. But the telekenetic for me doesn't really work. What will happen is it gets to 3/4 of the way of 1 maze and then it will click 1 space next to the normal space it clicks. It does not think that the person has moved so it will re-click to the last move. This make's the bot get stuck on the maze as it keeps trying to move the Guardian in a position it cannot move. The last version in V2 I would say wasn't too shabby and was overall good at it's job. However in the Telekenetic this time it just doesn't seem to be able to get it right.

NOTE: Dunken who got banned said he used the bot during the night (1 or 2 days ago) and got 700 telekenetic points! As that is a huge ammount of points that is proabally the reason why he got banned. But the other people who got banned used Enchant/Telekenetic which may be why they did get banned.

I feel I have been very careful when using this bot, and have seemingly succeeded thus far.
I do quests from time to time, I went back to the MTA manually a number of times before the bot was released.

I managed to get about 120 points yesterday without being banned.

The last time when he fixed the auto talker and robotz suggested that they might be checking suspected players by lagging them and checking to see if the mouse movements were fluid, and I wasn't banned for that despite getting quite a few points.

 

Robotz first - You need to create your own forum and on the front page of the website, you should put a disclaimer against jagex e.g. Exactly like on the moparscape front page.

Second - I agree with the 2/3 hours usage within a 24 hour period. This will not only stop abusers, but increase the chances of people not getting banned. In the long run, it would save you from giving people free hours and them getting banned altogether.

Third - Was it me who the j mods were questioning?

 

RID i am in no way complaining im on my last chance nor do i blame you i took the responsble knowing the effect that could happen. i got lucky im one of the few (i think) that's last chance appeal got accepted. the only thing im going to do is contact customer support and move my hours over to my next main.

EDIT:do not take this as me complaining about the bot i actually in retro spec love the bot made me 1.8 mill atm

EDIT:do not misunferstand also i did not use this bot to gold farm for re selling purposes i simple enjoyed the mage levels and money. when i do get my hours moved i will some of the cash it makes whikle it makes it way up the mage level scale(i do want 99 mage on the account im talkign about)

 

I think that you should make a forum on your website that you would have to log into with your RID username, and only if you have bought the bot could you post or observe threads there. You could remove this thread on Sythe and instead simply make a locked and stickied thread for bot updates etc. That heightens security and we don't have to worry about the threads getting deleted, although there should be some mods to get rid of unnecessary spam.

 

Im pretty sure he plans on/is doing that in the near future. Or so I hope...

 

I never never used the bot but from what i have gathered is that people are overusing, rushing into using it therefore getting banned

People you need to remember Jagex search these forums, any cheating forums, including robotzindisguise.com.

On the day of release, and for the next week they're going to be especially looking out, but people get too excited,Rush into it. Banned.

I'd atleast wait a week so they think theyve banned most people.

 

Well, that I got banned, I don't really car, when i started botting etc, I agreed that i may get banned, sooner or later.
It's just a game.

 

Are the new upcoming Graphics going to affect the bot in anyway?..This is going to be one of the biggest updates ever..and a lot of environment changes are going to be made..

I'm going to cancel my member subscription for a while I think and come back when I have actual time to play this.

... its been over 48 hours and customer support hasnt acted upon my out of credit when it says the payment was complete and cleared on paypal when i bought it the day b4 the update so impossible to bot 200 hours. I haven't been able to use because it says im out of credit and havent downloaded the bot, if you look at this post, please respond and i will also be sending a new email to customer support
